Hey everyone,

Out of curiosity any CT folks know about Insex?  I'm a huge fan and just looking for some conversation about it.  Thanks.

Kyle

Link would help, y'know.

Wikipedia teaches us:

Insex was one of the biggest BDSM pornographic websites on the Internet and arguably the most extreme American pornographic production featuring female submissives. It was also a leading innovator in both live video streaming, pioneering the concept before broadband Internet access existed, and in the depiction of BDSM practices on the Internet. It existed from 1997 to 2005 and was run by "Intersec Interactive Inc.",[1] a company owned by the website's creator, Brent Scott, former Carnegie Mellon professor, known as "pd". Insex developed a cult following among BDSM enthusiasts due to its uncommonly severe and realistic depiction of sadomasochistic practices. It was also known for its interactive "Live Feeds" which allowed members to make direct suggestions and requests.[2] In late 2005, Insex ended the production of original material, citing increased pressure from conservatives within the U.S. Justice Department as the main problem.[1][3]

mnottertail.  I was an innie until I had a hernia of the gut - too many calories - now I'm an outtie.  Actually, I can kinda go back-n-forth. LOL!

I loved the old Insex material. Have lots of it. His later incarnations (Infernal Restraints, Hardtied, etc.) aren't quite as good. Since he decided to recast himself as a Sex And Submission Lite it's just not as good. And man, that guy had the best toys. On a related note... sadly, they shuttered Top Girl. Another one I liked. Occasionally at work the topic of the internet and downloading and online access will come up and I always make a crack about downloading porn. If they only knew. [;)]

Edited to add: Check out the documentary "Graphic Sexual Horror" if you can find it. Well done history of Insex including behind the scenes interviews with many of the major players.

@Lance -it is dead but the material was sold to an offshore company that cycles through it.  www.insexarchives.com

@Dom -I actually own that one, I gave up on Amazon streaming it or Netflix buying it.  It's a shame about TG, it was just getting into it's stride.

Wish someone would share this logic with Stern Skipper.

I loved Insex.  That BDSM music video Asphyxiation Fix is still around.

Link should pop a DL queue for your Real Player to view it (10 megs, it takes a second start).

If you want the behind the scenes on the rise and fall of Insex, look for the documentary "Graphic Sexual Horror" 2009

The power dynamics were different. But he seemed more an artist thinking with his dick, than a cold blooded, money suit.

Yes, and the 3 dozen or so videos from about 2004 I have are all femme domme/male sub. They were from InsexM.com which is still active.

Might just be the hottest stuff out there.
