That's your "leader", Republicans.... Can't even keep track of 350 billion dollars...

At this point, the obstructionist terrorists and their fellow travelers carrying water for them who are holding our economy hostage have zero credibility...

57 states

$1 trillion non-existent savings from Afghanistan and Iraq in Reids plan.

Political line of the week from CK on Reid's plan: "I heard there are $10 billion in savings from not invading Normandy again."

Dem scoring of Obamacare adjusted by the CBO virtually everytime it was presented, and carried a rare criticism that it double counted $500 billion in savings.

Harry Reid this morning: We are not concerned about the CBO scoring of the Senate bill, we will continue to make adjustments to the plan to meet the targets, we call it "tweaking".

Back under the bridge troll.

Trouble is, we did invade Normandy, spent a small fraction of what we do now, actually paid for it, actually defeated the Nazis and...in a year.

So in that we haven't invaded Normandy but did invade Iraq instead (you know, the kind of thing one does eventually have to pay for) and with the abominable, purposeful, incompetence and profit-seeking of Bush and the repubs...have now been stuck there 10 years and several years after the fall, spent $trillion needed for that profit-seeking, have produced one of the world's top 10 failed states...and it was ALL free.

Oh, that is until a black, liberal democrat is elected.(yes, much of the vitriol I've seen and heard is because he is black...I've seen it)

Oh but now...now we must pay for it. Now just how do we do that ? Well we'll cut every dime for the 'daddys' of the world, make grandma pay more for her medicare, cut off the contribution to states education and medicaid. Little thing like that and amount to a fraction of the cost.

Pretty simple though. Let's pass the repub bill. It only raises the debt limit 39 more times until they balance the budget in 2050.

Math is for "elitists"[8|]

This is laughable Obama is attacked for counting the savings from ending our involvement in Afghanastan and Iraq...while Bush entered into the damm things off the books.Pathetic, other than the fact that it is so very sad.

willbeurdaddy -> RE: Republicans are so fucking dumb, they can't even add.... (7/27/2011 3:25:11 PM)

And it turns out that the difference had nothing to do with math errors. The bill's analysts used the January baseline, as was used for every budget proposal up to that point. The CBO switched it to a May baseline.

That's almost as dumb as liberals who want to increase spending by 15%, but only receive a 10% increase and then call it a 5% "cut" in spending.

Read the OP again...he derided Republicans for being mathematically challenged. I simply pointed out that Democrats are equally challenged in math.
