I've seen a couple use something suggested in a BDSM book. They use, "If it pleases you Master," to indicate the submissive's willingness to comply with her Master's wishes. But if she really does NOT want to do something she will instead say, "Only if it pleases you, Master."
Her master is still the one who finally decides upon the action - but when he gets the "Only if it pleases you, Master," he usually takes that as a cue to set that request aside for discussion.
I dunno which of the mainstream BDSM books I've also read this in. Maybe "The New Topping Book" or "The Loving Dominant?" If it doesn't ring a bell with anyone, I'll go look it up again.
In any case, a Dom invited to visit an established couple is sailing through uncharted territory - he has no idea what sort of verbal or visual shorthand that couple has decided to use. Making an assumption here is sure to sink him.
