fuck, no shit. that's why you make the answers nonsensical. say the question is "the name of your first pet?" well instead of putting in fluffikins or whatever, you put in your landlord's phone number. shit like that.

But then I'd forget the nonsensical answers when I needed them.

I worked with a guy who just put "Ford" for everything.

Yes, I do the nonsensical thing as well. I'm thinking now, though, of those accounts that I opened long ago...before I realized I should be doing the nonsensical thing. I change passwords all the time, but it never occurred to me to update security questions.

then you make a fucking system. pick say 12 random words and use them in rotation. or you use the right answer but fuck with it, say add the word "pill" to the end, so the answer to where you met your spouse becomes "at a party pill". see, it's easy as fucking on a sunday morning.

i mean really folks, this stuff should be obvious, i mean it is to me, and i'm no fucking einstein.
