The kitten that cost my friend such misery was a healthy housecat! All cats have bacteria laden mouths--as do all creatures--so bites that beak the skin should be taken seriously.

If cats are so dangerous- why do so many have them?

one nieghbor has 4 of them- another has 6.

This makes me glad my cat is declawed. That way I cant get scratched.

Something is off on this woman's story, IMO.

There are a limited number of wild animals willing to attack humans: bears, sharks, rhinos, all of the big cats. Note they are all larger than human sized.

I find it hard to believe a small feral cat would attack a human w/o provocation. I have never known a feral cat to do anything other than spit and run

That is not normal behavior for a feral cat (not that I am an expert).

oohh...my youngest sister has a cat like that!

That evil spawn of Satan has clawed and bitten her kids and people are afraid to walk into her house because of that cat. It will follow you around hissing and screeching. I'm not normally afraid of cats but that thing is simply eeeevil!

My experience with cats is that if a cat has been tortured or harmed in some way then even if no one is provoking it, even the site of a person or someone who reminds the cat of its torture can stir it to act in asuch a manner as described.

We've had plenty of feral cats around our place. Only one, a truly nasty and ugly, huge, yellow tom, has ever given me reason for caution. He tried to chase me while making that hideous spitting, hissing and yowling noise. I was going to shoot him but he disappeared before I had the opportunity.

Cats in general are really not as 'tame' as we fool ourselves into believing. Imagine if they were all 125# instead of around 12#.....that playful little ankle tackle wouldn't be as cute.

I've been bitten several times by sweet domesticated cats. The bites can be nasty if not aggressively treated immediately. I am stubborn about doctors and tend to try home remedies first. I've managed to make it work so far.

i've had that experience with cats. when i was attacked, we were simply walking down the sidewalk on the way home. the cat followed us attacked me without provocation. i've also been to people's homes where they have cats who hiss at and threaten anyone who comes in. they say "oh don't mind her, it's just what she does," and figure you'll just laugh about it when the cat is crouching in front of you hissing at you or trying to claw your legs every time you move.

That reminded me of a cat my sister had. Huge fucker and didn't look like your average house cat. It seriously looked like a cougar, only solid soft gray. He could leap from the floor to the top of the fridge effortlessly. That was his favourite spot as he love to attack unsuspecting men as they walked past. Fortunately, only men.

For some reason I always find a good size 9 applied delicately works ......... but seriously now ....... I have never before heard of a cat following, and THEN attacking. But I have heard of the most placid of dog, or cat, or even a fluffy bunny wunnie suddenly attacking if startled from sleep. Maybe a session with a good Dom/me, and being gagged and placed in ankle/wrist restraints will do the trick Now it is just required for said pussy loving Dom/de to step into the breach

My grandma used to have a cat like that her name was kitty and she was an evil little thing. THey had the hardest time with her when she had kittens... She used to kick the dog's ass! My grandpa used to say it would be quiet and she'd attack out of no where. It was just that cat and she was a pet/housecat... Otherwise I haven't really seen any cats behave that way.

I think the crazy cats are inbred.

That woman might have pulled the cats tail - or tried to give it a bath.

Cats get along with humans. Tho if you die and no one collects the body once the cat runs out of food he will eat your corpse.
