Yeah, Trafficant mentioned something about $300,000 or so for studying the mating habits of the tse tse fly. He mentioned a few other things, which is what pissed "them" off. But true bonehed research is not good here. If it was the ones with more bones in their head may be discriminated aginst, and the market can't take that. But who funds these things ? Senators who wonder if it would be cheaper to take a bus to Hawaii, or those who think their credit card is actually a visa ? I bet some of them think traveling abroad means getting layed in the back of a moving limosine. And of course they fund "their kind". Which is it this month ? Butter or margarine ? Yup, the FDA is about the worst, and we know they do it on purpose. Bonehead research, hmmmm, sounds like it should be a government department. You know universities are hurting for money. Case used to have a slush fund approaching a half a billion, but they got a new director who took care of that. So now with less money the are threatening to privatise some building services. Of course the private firms that would take over have no interest in profit. Boneheads, yes, the Department Of Boneheads. If the right representative proposes it, they will fund it. T^T
