Nice to see Lady Hugs again.
I have had a good August. Worked my bum off (yep, I'm sitting directly on bone). We had horrible flooding in Korea, worst rain in over a hundred years, people dying in the mudslides, the roads and subways unusable, etc., and the rain is still coming! It affected my life in quite a big way for over a week. By default now I carry an umbrella. Sigh. I have had some minor surgery (I'm fine) but still reeling from some of the aftereffects. I visited the Calibirthday via skype and was so glad to be included. That was a joy - some familiar folks and new folks I'd never talked with before. Sweet! I have started cooking more and I've made a few changes in my life, but all in all things are good.
I'm on vacation for a couple more weeks and prepping for the upcoming semester as best I can. I've been very creative during this break, and I've been able to get a few things published (yay!), and even more things rejected (sigh). I started doing some more art work, and I'm quite happy with it - I'm a dreadful visual artist, but it has brought me great happiness just to do it.
Biggest problem in my life right now is I can't find my dang passport. I MUST find it - I had it replaced a year and a half ago, and I just can't go back to the embassy with my tail between my legs again! I have a couple of international trips set up for the next few months, so I gotta find it or replace it. I know it's in my home somewhere, and I've been tearing the place apart. My bank book is with it - I remember putting them together. Grrrr. Anyone wanna come help me?
