I ordered an "electric paddle" from Extreme Restraints recently. http://www.extremerestraints.com/shock-prods_67/electric-paddle_448.html Just a day or two later someone told me about the Harbor Freight fly swatters. When the paddle arrived I was a bit miffed to find that that's all it was: an electric fly swatter. Now I almost wish I'd checked out the Harbor Freight product first. But at least this one doesn't need any altering to deliver a sharp "zap." It got several good reviews on Extreme Restraints. Let's hope it's not as flimsy as the other and will hold up to its reputation.

We have a bunch of electric fly swatters, actually in this model!

The bite from the fly swatter is really mild, and the hits are a bit unpredictable. We got these for a fight scene a few years ago. It just feels a bit itchy, it is no where near the power of other sorts of electric play. The skin also has to get a direct hit, and it doesn't tend to be very generalized. It also doesn't let out a whole ton of juice. During our scene we got bored pretty quick, they were nearly as much fun as we thought they would be.

However! My partner figured out how to convert this fly swatter into a Cattle Prod, and in that form it is fierce. Let's out a nice bright spark and zap. It's milder than a commercial cattle prod, but enough to induce fear, and is hard limit for most who visit our house :)

In My opinion, it is, especially if you want to see if you enjoy zapping someone before making the investment of buying a TENS or a wand.
