I believe that we are not fully aware when we exist in our corporeal bodies. Some strive but can only approach full awareness. Once the corporeal life has ended, then one is fully aware and that includes all the consequences of his actions, as well as the good. The good does not directly abate the bad. If you kill Joe and save John, Joe is still dead. As such there is no forgiveness for the taking of a life. That may sound a bit out of character for one such as I but it is not. It is within my sphere of what life really is. In that some life must go on and other life must not. I just ate some beef, I don't want cows trying to kick their way out of me. We live by death and we must accept that, and when we truly do that means we accept our own death. Then we are truly free. My Father told me, and he had been in jail here and there; "They can lock up my body but they cannot lock up my mind". What does that mean ? He never feared death and taught me to do the same. Now folks, the only way to beat a fear of death is to look it right in the eye. We, more than once stood with loaded and cocked firearms aimed right at each others' heads, and we did this when we were REALLY pissed at each other. Each time, obviously we decided not to pull the trigger. So while death should not be feared, it must be understood that it is a one way street. Some believe in reincarnation, but I do not. Perhaps upon death one is reborn, but that would be into a diferent reality. Not some different dimension like on Star Trek or some shit, but as energy, not mass. There is a part of our brain that may be what we consider the soul, that is just energy. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, just changed in form, sometimes into mass. Now if the energy of the human mind is energy created solely out of the mass of our intake while alive, it would stand to reason that this energy would return to it's state of being mass upon our death, right ? Well if that were true then when the actual moment of death came, we would weigh just a hair more after the moment of death. But the opposite is true. This line of thinking has taken me in many directions at once and also in one direction. Mass, and therefore matter, does not exist. It only exists in our perception, which we percieve as real because we are made of the same thing. If this is true then some of the scientific mysteries might be solved, but right now it is only my personal belief. There is a theory of the universe being a holographic projection, this reconciles just fine with that. People wonder about those times when supposedly some sort of telepathy was faster than C, with a couple of those instances not being disproved satisfactorily. But that is in someone else's mind, not mine. So we die, and all that is left is energy. Now your name, your gender, your hair color, nationality, your NAME, all that is based on corporeal existence, which you now have none. Who are you ? The ultimate collectivism some might say. Now if you really think about it and everyone is totally aware and forcibly empathic to EVERY DEED THEY DID in life, that would certainly be heaven for some, and hell for others. Take your pick. T^T
