Yeah sure, I bet you think that's real funny, don't you? Well let me tell you it's not. It's horrible! I wasn't asked if I wanted to be signed up, no, he just went ahead and did it without even considering me or my feelings.

He treated me like some inanimate object, just some puppet to be manipulated for his enjoyment. I feel so violated!

If anyone is still having login issues on the forums, try this:

Login to the forums by clicking "login" at the top of the page, and use your password from the personals side.

If that logs you in, click the "collarme" black logo at the top of the page, to go back to the personals side. Then click "message boards" over there to come back here. That should re-sync your password.

That worked.

Worked for me, too. Good thing, cuz I was about to go make a shorter password

tittymouse, glad to see you back and that it went well......for an extraction

Take the advice given, Delete the account and let it go... you'll sleep a lot better tonight.
Write a mail to support... hell, my ex did it once and that one costed me, this one, at the least is free of charge.

Yeah, it worked once, but when I tried it again, I had to sign in again. I didn't check the cookie box, either.

that makes it #13--or higher--and counting...

Really not too pleased with the lack of notice...or at least note of site maintenance...

grrrrr...

it, too, was really scared/freaked out that someone had hacked into its account

a MASSIVE apology would be in order, itthinks... : )

cmon its relatively easy for any site to go down

i used to work on server redundancy even got server +

and even with the best will in the world things will go wrong

This reminds me of a time in the late 80's when I worked in a hospital that finally came out of the dark ages & went up on a computer system. After the first day, I asked my boss about downtime procedures. She said to me, "We don't need any downtime procedures." I said, "Really? Why do you think that?" And she actually said, with a completely straight face, "They told us the system would never go down." I managed to back out of her office before falling down & rolling on the floor laughing my ass off.

Of course, it went down & was down for 5 business days, during which I wrote & implemented the downtime procedures. But they wouldn't allow me to input all the data when the system came back up & the person who did it didn't understand computers at all, so 2 years later, they were still finding shit that was wrong.

I had thought that somehow people had gotten smarter in the last 20 years. *sigh*

Well I certainly have. 20 years ago I was just a babe in arms compared to where I'm at today.

I agree completely, I've come so far in the last 20 years!

Uh, Cheri, the joke doesn't really work for you, you're 19, 20 years ago you were still in your mother's womb.

See! I've come even further than you.
