Greetings

I do not know what history you have with the OP, but from his threads that I have read he seams to have legitimate questions and is no more attention seeking than anyone else posting here, including you, which in reality make you look rather unreasonable and bad mannered.

I wish you well

OwnedFemaleFlesh -> RE: The powerful sub? (8/12/2011 9:32:28 AM)

If you don't know which threads I'm referring to, then why comment at all?

The poster believes that submissives who do not respond to his advances are rude and stupid. Clearly he is offended by the lack of attention he has received and has gone on a posting frenzy in order to redress the matter, both here and on Informed Consent. I consider this attention seeking.

Sometimes the more *powerful* ones submit much...deeper.

Sometimes...not.

tsk tsk

no truer word could be said. those who think they are strong and powerful fall harder and deeper, should know i fell very deeply when it came to it. im still strong but power means only that Master has it and i dont.

Greetings

I generally respond good or bad to what is being said in a given thread instead of judging someone based on whatever threads they have made in the past, therefore I post to this thread without reading up on everything everyone else in this thread have been writing before.

I wish you well

Sometimes you have to be brave, intelligent, strongwilled with a thick skin to ask a simple question on these forums without people jumping down your throat,I have said already that i don't believe subs to be stupid or weak, which part of that is causing problems?

This is because a large number of people on these forums are nitpicking pedants with no self-worth.  Consequently they seek any justification for rudeness when exposed to a new male dominant or submissive.  Compare and contrast their responses to new women versus new men.  It's an interesting examination of the way in which a group closes ranks to repel all boarders.  What amuses me is the way the men are as bad as the women.  A clear example of thinking that kissing a woman's ass is the sure way into her panties.

Ignore them.  Take value where you find it - and you'll frequently find it in the less shrill more reasonable and level-headed posters.

Not sure whether you're just being naive or doing an easy troll, but the responses to new men and women are a pretty good example of fairness given the parameters of this forum. No doubt you've looked into the 'introduce yourself' forum and seen the many posts that are from men that are just 'do me' or wankfantasy posts (and hence get the piss taken out of them muchly). The proportion of kinda-equivalent posts from women (i.e. they have an intention that has little to do with reading / participating on a serious forum) is much less. If you wish to test this, then feel free - just monitor the newbie posts from now on for the next week or so..even a quick retrospective look suggests twice as many dodgy posts from men than women and that is after at least some moderating.

I think that would still be a submissive - a bedroom submissive - or a bottom.

Or just kinky.

ETA - hey, wait a second. 24/7 submissives aren't intelligent or powerful?

ETA again - I'm tired. I might be feeling extra argumentative.

I didn't mean they weren't powerful or intelligent, don't hit me I bruise easily.

I was under the impression that a "powerful sub" doesnt bruise at all ~ physically, emotionally or psycholocially . . . . . :))

SuperHappyTime is just one example of a new male poster that made a good first post and got a nice reception. GIGO.

Another new male is stoni23, with whom I've sometimes noticed disagreement, but not rudeness.

kalikshama -> RE: The powerful sub? (8/17/2011 4:32:36 PM)

And the last recent new male I've noticed NOT encountering rudeness is MrSprocket. All three are intelligent, articulate posters who do not come off as HNGs or seeking wank fodder, which no doubt has something to do with their good reception.
