With all the excited talk of a CM get together and where to hold it i had a brilliant idea. A while ago i started a thread about dominance and Harleys, this brought a lot of lifestylers who also ride out of the woodwork, who knew there were so many of us here on CM.

My thought was how about a CM meet and greet bike run. Anybody interested?

On a separate topic i know you are getting your bike soon. Do you already have a motorcycle license? If you do not and need a hand i am an AMA certified motorcycle safety course instructor.

I do not have my liscense yet. I was going to take the course the harley dealership offers before I get on the bike that lives here now but was waiting to see if a real estate deal I have been working on goes thru, if not then I get my very own bike. I have not ridden in many many years and then it was just crappy a old yaaaaamaaaaahaaaaa or getting crazy on dirt bikes out at the old quarry. That was about 20 years ago and they were bikes I did not care if I dropped on the ground. The episode the other night reminded me that we are talking a whooole different calibre of motorcycle and as anxious as I am to get on it and as much as I know he would let me I won't take that risk. I am also rethinking the size bike I want.....was really drooling over the heritage but now with that dyna I think that might be about my limit unless the heavier bike has a lower centre of gravity to compensate. Wether I get a bike soon or next year I would LOVE the opportunity to learn from you! Thank you so much for the generous offer.

Gezz, I have no bike. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

I will say that as a small child I did have a tricycle, which lead up to a bicycle if that accounts for anything. One day though I sure would love to own a bike. And in all seriousness, this sounds like a great idea twicehappy.

I would love to attend. My previous experience is on dirt bikes,
not street bikes though. Right now I only have a car, but would
love to help with the event.

LaTigresse No problem, the best thing you can do to start is borrow a dirt bike that is a little heavy and practice. You should pick a HD that you can put both feet on the ground and back it up without straining. Remember also they can be lightened up a lot by customizing them.

Absolutely, you are forgiven BP, for riding a rice burner to said event. I just had a vision of chasing slave girls thru Loki's forest on my trusty 4legged steed (not compatable with two wheeled horses I know from experience) however it is a lovely vision........

It sounds like a great idea. If anybody wants to do a ride in the Maryland, Delaware region I am in. I just got back today from a great Skyline Drive Va. trip. I took my cycle pop up camper and camped the last day at Harpers Ferry West Va.
