Art for art sake. Whether it`s poetry or lyrics us irrelevant. Those two different words are to describe two different art forms. Quoting a song,calling it a poem just makes the guy look dumb. If that`s the case,he`s only re-enforcing a perception that`s he`s been working on. Folksy-dumb.
