Medically or whatever, it would be very unlikely for you to know for sure that you do not have female testes. The fact is the odds are only like 20%, but most Women, as well as their doctors and Husbands or whatever simply do not know because they are pretty much buried.

I have alot more ot say but - not right now. Perhaps in another section dealing with genitalia and shit, it just doesn't seem right here.

I wouldn't get too bothered by his comments zephyroftheNorth. Anything medically related that I've ever read of what he's typed out on these boards has been almost entirely wrong. I'm not sure why he thinks he has any knowledge in that field. The female testes part cracked me up though. :D

Surgeons, medical school students and medical examiners cut open and dissect both live people and cadavers pretty darn thoroughly, so they're pretty sure no female testes are hiding away in there undiscovered behind a pancreas or someplace.

I'm just sort of skimming, and don't read any of his posts, but unless I'm not remembering my biology very well, a woman's ovaries are the female equivalent of the man's testes. Sex is determined during embryonic development, and if you have the male chromosomes, your ovaries stay outside of the body (testes), and if you end up w/the female chromosomes, they move up.

Yeah, I could look it up, but so could he......I'm just tired. As DD says, a doctor he ain't!

But this female testes thing, it's been known since like the 1970s. Because there are no references on the web it's not true, OK, let them. In fact, let them eat cake. I have talked to doctors and some of them have confirmed what the first one said. They are usually small, like the size of a peanut or less. I mean shelled. But if doesn't exist unless I have cites and quotes, so forget it. But they have REMOVED some. Not proof, no, not at all. My word is no good, but some motherfucker who cheats on his tests and gets all Fs who works for the government is credible. OK.

BTW, testosterone has been found in the blood of females, as well as estrogen found in the blood of males. You know we all have both. All of us. From where does testosterone come in a female body ? OH OH OH it's these organs,,,,,,,,,,,

And now they change the name and voila, all previous science is moot. That is the way of the world today. A "ball" of confusion".

Nope, there are no female 'testes'.
Basic embryology: the gonads form into either testicles or ovaries, which is why true hermaphrodites are so rare.
It's the Mullerian and Wulffian ducts which are in both sexes: Mullerian is dominant if the child is genetically female, if Wolffian, male.
In males, the Mullerian [female] organ remnants form a teensy tiny vagina on the prostate, called the prostatic utricle, and the little appendix on each testicle called the appendix testis. So just because I love strap-on sex and gently pounding on a good man's vagina, it doesn't make either of us lesbian.
In females, the remnant of the Wolffian [male] ducts forms ligaments and glands on the vulva or the walls of the vagina, including the Skene's gland which may be analogous to the male prostate, and be the cause of female ejaculation, ahem, including mine.
