Perry is now a fire breathing Libertarian, how convenient.

I think it's way too early of course to know but my bet is people will see him for what he is when he gets in front of the people debating the other candidates. I've watched videos of him and he reminds me so much of Bush that it turns my stomach.

One big show for the people.

What do you expect from a Texican Anglo Saxon, they revolted from Mexico because the new Mexican constitution prohibited slavery.

He will say anything to avoid honest labor, and politics is as good for him as owning a plantation or an estate with serfs was for his ancestral cousins.

But you hit the nail on the head, another Bush, but at least the Perry WASP is nominally from Texas, so I suppose is more of the real thing, then the Kennebunkport Yankee immigrant was.

But how can anyone believe Perry based on his NWO governance of TX?

I don't know what you mean exactly by NWO and Perry.. I think you're talking about The "New World Order" stuff right?

I had no idea he was "mixed up" in that conspiracy stuff. I do believe he's big gov and big business all the way but I don't know that it qualifies him to be dropped in that.

Oh this has little to do with elections.  They all love me can't you tell?

that doesn't fucking matter to me. get it? doesn't fucking matter. i don't give a flying fuck how he voted. what he said when he wasn't trying to suck the public tit is what counts, not what he did to keep his fucking seat.

Have you also searched for the videos and interviews of his reply to these allegations? If you don't take the time to find out the whole story then it's not really an open assessment. I've been through that with Hannah banana's.. so I'll say to you the same as I did with her. Take the time to get the whole story. I'm not going to provide the videos for anyone because very rarely does anyone change their mind. It's not my job nor is this thread about that so although this seems like an attempt to "discuss" the politics of Ron Paul... I'll pass.. Maybe on another thread. I'm not seeing any of the other videos or articles/interviews BTW so that tells me that you might not have researched it with the open mind like you claim to have done.

Um, yes, and I linked to it. I quoted and bolded the part I felt important. Look, he has no credibility with me if he publishes the Ron Paul Political Report and then disavows the content. He's lying or incompetent.

Here, let me quote a little more:

http://articles.cnn.com/2008-01-10/politics/paul.newsletters_1_newsletters-blacks-whites?_s=PM:POLITICS

Paul told CNN's "The Situation Room" Thursday that he didn't write any of the offensive articles and has "no idea" who did. Watch Paul's full interview with CNN

"When you bring this question up, you're really saying, 'You're a racist' or 'Are you a racist?' And the answer is, 'No, I'm not a racist,'" he said.

Paul said he had never even read the articles with the racist comments. See the newsletter excerpts for yourself

"I do repudiate everything that is written along those lines," he said, adding he wanted to "make sure everybody knew where I stood on this position because it's obviously wrong."

But that's not good enough, says one political veteran.

"These stories may be very old in Ron Paul's life, but they're very new to the American public and they deserve to be totally ventilated," said David Gergen, a CNN senior political analyst. "I must say I don't think there's an excuse in politics to have something go out under your name and say, 'Oh by the way, I didn't write that.'"

Yep and your little army of dissenters are marching with the same gun in your hands.

On another thread I posted links to a few other things that fly in the face of those statements. Look'em up.

As for you Hannah.. I just don't believe you anymore and that childish anarchist bit did it for me so I'm not really sure that you haven't just made the hooker bit, anarchist bit up so you can look fringe and tough to the little girls that don't know any better and you seem to attract.

I mean, saying you're an anarchist? C'mon.. that's some angst fed childhood fantasy you just haven't grown out of. Who grows up to think that no government at all is a good thing.. I'll tell you who.. People who don't think shit through.

~FR~

It seems that the most popular reason not to vote for Ron Paul is that he didn't proofread a newsletter. I've been watching him pretty closely since the '08 debates, and it seems to me that if he was a racist, he would want more interventionist wars against brown people, and he would want to escalate the war on drugs. In fact, he goes against both parties and ALL the other candidates on these issues. That's far more important to me than the newsletter.

The bigger picture eludes them.
