I joined almost 3 yrs ago under my original nic because it was suggested by an ex-Dom. CM outlasted him too. I started on Fet, heard the "horror" stories about CM and was hesitant to join. I didn't start really chatting until about a year and a half ago, and I've stuck to this side mostly. I did meet someone on the other side about a month ago, seems like the real deal, we've been chatting online and exchanging phone calls almost every night. Hopefully this time it works out. Never thought I'd meet someone from the CM side though, not after all he duds.

A submissive friend of mine on the East Coast told me about CM so I could follow her journal. Soon after though, she got in trouble with her Dom husband and he punished her by making her delete her journal. But already for me the damage was done. [;)] (And as a p.s., that relationship didn't last.)

I was on bondage.com and then everyone was talking about the "rival website" that everyone was switching to....that was like over 10 years ago or more. I switched between the two till eventually b.com became desolate and then I met Master on this site and just never seemed to find a reason to ever switch back to b.com.

I knew about the site long before I joined. Years ago someone brought it up at a party. Once a friend suggested I join. A couple of years ago a pet was a memeber. This time it was a friend that pointed out something of interest to me that I just felt I had to take a look at.

I was either loved or hated there also........only usually in the all female chat room. The mixed were just too annoying for me.

I remember when I got my first computer back in about 1996, I'd heard about these chat rooms, so I went into a couple of them & pretended to be someone I wasn't. I got bored really quickly. LOL I've never really enjoyed them, even when I was being me. Too much going on, too chaotic for me. Although I did go into one in about 2006 & met a guy from Chicago & ended up meeting him once. That was kinda fun.

When I first discovered the yahoo chat rooms, it was through a friend of mine from work. I got addicted and used to spend hours between 2 of them. It got so bad at one point, by this time I was on LTD from work for the depression I was in there for up to 20 hrs a day. I suffered from a bad case of insomnia and was lucky to get 2-3 hrs sleep every few days. Used to cam with friends, and I'd literally fall asleep in my chair. They'd be screaming at me through my headset but there was no waking me up for those few hours I'd passed out. It got to be a joke. I also wasn't allowed to use hands free thru the room because I'd be giggling my fool head off at something silly and keep everyone else off the mic. I finally got to a point one day where I said enough and just shut down my pc for 6 months solid. Not even to play my favorite CD games. I knew if I turned it on, I'd go right back to where I'd been, and that was not a good place for me or my head. They've now shut down the personal chat rooms after Yahoo was sued by Pepsi for their advert appearing in a personal chatroom that had an illegal title about daddies and their, well, not their grown children. Cost them millions.

Truth be told, I don't remember how I found this site....stumbled across it somewhere. I am on alt and used to be on bondage, but they want $$$ for their site, waaaaaay too much money......and this place is so much better. I've met some total duds and skanks here, but for the most part, I've been pretty lucky in the selection of friends I've made. I hang out on the boards, don't spend much time on the other side....most who contact me aren't even close to what my profile specifies. I lurked around the boards for about 6-7 months before I started posting. I've learned more from the folks here than I have pretty much anyplace not real life. And I like the usual cast of characters that hang out here......good for a laugh when I really need one! [:D]

It is likely. IF I remember correctly I had created a name out of two of my dogs, at the time, names. Molly our old black lab and Bella, one of the best dogs I've ever had. And Mabella was born. I am not even sure but that the account still exists.

I never got involved in the yahoo chat room really. I've always used that for more personal communication. Friends and family type thing. More like, instant email or another version of texting from my desktop.

I have no idea. I will swear that a woman I was chatting with suggested I try it. A couple of years later I mentioned the site and she said she'd never heard of it.
