Its far left CBS so in their rush to apologize for "the chosen one" they of course ignored the fact that Bushs time in Texas was mostly spent working

You cant expect any more than that from such far left media sources though

Status: offline 		Well the only reason he owned a ranch was so he could look more like Regean.  Bush did not purchase the ranch until 6 months before he announced he was running for Presiden.

Gee Bush spends 225 days on vacation and the right still can't see it anything wrong with it, but 70 days and Geessshhhh that is to much time to take off

Status: offline 		Himself is a high level exec. When he first started his job he got 4 weeks vacation his first year. 20 days. His second through fifth he received 6 weeks .. 30 days per year. Years after through 10, he got 8 weeks or 40 days a year. In 8 years he received a total of 220 days of vacation. Pretty equal to Bush and, like Bush, he often worked a lot of those days. Obama has been in office for 2.5 years or so so to me reasonable vacation days at an exec level would be somewhere around 60 - 70 days. Like Bush, Obama is on call 24/7 and I'm pretty sure that the people who need to have instant access to him for whatever reason can do so.

If people think that's too much vacation time, then the thing to do is to call your congressman and let them know. While you're on that phone call.. ask your Congressman how many vacation days he scheduled for himself during his first year.

ETA: Holy crap.. I didn't realize that Bush took 225 days during the same time frame that Obama has taken 70. Never mind about what I said about it being comparable to Himself.

Status: offline 		How much vacation time have your GOP candidates taken in the last 2.5 years? Less than 70 days?

I'd like to see the evidence that shows their vacation time has been LESS than 1/4th of Mr. Obama. Since Mr. Obama's vacation time has been 1/4th of Mr. Bush's by this time in both administrations. If it's more than Mr. Obama's than you cant vote for any of them.

I think it was your rush to spin more lies.

It was simply a comparison of the same time frame.  There was nothing ill of Bush in the article.

Of course the video of Bush clearing brush at the ranch was related to working for the country how?
