ORIGINAL: IIIIIlllllIIIII to all those people with your hilarious comments about Fetlife vs CM... Fetlife is a social networking site, just like this. they may not have certain functions, but what I can tell you is that the site is not auto moderated by a computer. Fetlife has mods, which constantly monitor the site. I do not receive ANY spam messages on Fetlife, nor do I see too many "Financial Dommes". Wonder why? No, it's really not "just like this". If you'd like Me to bore you with the details on that, we can do it on the other side. Personally, I happen to think Fet has some wonderful advantages, especially in the category of being able to find local (and even non local) events. It is not, however, very effective if you are looking for an a/s/l type search to find potential partners. You can make it work if you base it on looking at profiles from a particular town, etc, but you have to put a lot more into it. I'm actually glad that the two sites aren't just copy cats of each other. That way, I get to reap the advantages of both. LP is quite right. I frequent three different BDSM sites regularly: CM is my go to for these boards. The other side is good for PMing with people I want to send a comment to after reading something posted. Fet is where I stay current with my local events, munches, demos, etc. (By the way, I've had more messages from Ghana on Fet, than from CM.) However, Bondage.com is where I found my partner. I moderate the sports & relationship forums there, and wound up in a relationship with someone I'd bantered with about 5 years or so. You use the sites however it fits for you. Of course common sense helps, but not every one uses it.
