My post has nothing to do with a desire to be right. I'm simply saying if I start saying "what is" for everyone else, I'm going to receive argument. Not sure what your issue is with that, but hey thanks for the wish of luck. [;)]

There is nothing wrong with attributing the word 'switch' to someone who enjoys both topping and bottoming. There are plenty of tops and bottoms out there who are neither Dominant or submissive. They are in it all for the sensations of the play. They switch between liking to top and liking to bottom. Nobody ever said the word only applies to orientation or role within a dynamic.

Very true, switch can indeed mean one who tops and bottoms, and using the word in that context, one could very easily be a dominant and a switch. The permutations are endless, and fascinating.

It's simple - If you get flogged into sub-space and like it, you're a switch. You can also get flogged, not like it and not want to do it again.
