SirLangsdorff -> Sir in Raleigh (Intro) (8/23/2011 5:22:20 PM)

Hello, New to ownership (yet no one owned yet), not new to the lifestyle. I am a 41 yr old living in Raleigh, NC, currently. Can be old or new guard, but I think I prefer Old Guard personally. Mainly like to get to know anyone, am not prejudiced to anyone. Like to know if I am compatible to a slave before there is any commitment or meeting and certainly don't like to cam or IM, even email outside of the site unless I know something is there. I am used to poly households, but virtually, but think I will be better off with a one-on-one in the meat world. Any questions ask. I'll be periodically looking through the boards for other topics of interest. Speaking of which, Fetlife is another great site to check out for anyone interested.

Thanks all for the welcome to CM. I knew most of the old timers would know, but maybe there was someone new that maybe didn't know. Also look up http://acesonsl.blogspot.com/ ACES is more than BDSM but stands for Adult Community Education Society. It started, I believe, in Second life for those that wish to live it, rather than just "play" it. I have personally been to quite a few of their events and discussions. They're hosted by different "groups" with topics like the different types of collar, or protocols. Things of that nature. RL is different and that has always been taught but people there can't or won't live it in RL for different reasons and it's a great beginning place to try it out before you do in RL.

Welcome walt, don't go throwing your jacket over puddles, unless they're pretty deep and you can catch someone out! You know, potatoes and all that, don't loose your head, etc. Have fun at CM
