This is a tough audience, and I almost hate to say this, but I did cheat on my ex. My advice? Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it. I rationalized my behavior, I told myself I could make it up to him, I thought the rules that apply to other people didn't apply to me. I finally ended the marriage, at least in part because I felt unworthy of him, and felt he deserved to find someone better, who would make him happy. I can't say I regret it that the marriage ended, but I definitely regretted cheating. I will live with that guilt for the rest of my life, and I would never, ever, do it again. If your marriage isn't working, divorce her before you become a liar and a cheat. I got divorced 4 years ago, I have a very happy life, but tears are rolling down my cheeks as I am writing this. I try really hard not to think about my duplicity, it is, and will remain, the biggest mistake of my life. Any questions?
