farglebargle -> RE: East Coast Tea Partiers & Hurricane Irene (8/28/2011 1:12:56 PM)

quote:

CHRIS CHRISTIE: We have FEMA representatives here at the -- at the Regional Operations and Intelligence Center, been working with us. I'm going to be calling Secretary Napolitano in an hour or two to make a further request of additional needs. But so far, FEMA has been very responsive. I spoke to Secretary Napolitano in the last 24 hours. She's offered to do whatever she needs to do to help us out here in New Jersey. She knows how hard we're going to be hit. So right now, the cooperation between New Jersey and FEMA has been great, and I'm going to be calling Secretary Napolitano shortly to ask for some more help.

STOOPID REPUBLICAN! Chris Christie is such a fucking hypocrite, he sees no problems adding to our federal debt as long as it benefits him!

Sanity -> RE: East Coast Tea Partiers & Hurricane Irene (8/28/2011 1:28:38 PM)

Thats a stoopid strawman argument

When did Christie ever object to or condemn "all" government spending

So now it has to be ALL.... interesting. Not enough that the spending they do object too would help those who need the most help... while not objecting to the help those who least need it feel they are entitled too.

From your own link:

quote:

He says a near majority of damaged homes have had some kind of difficulty with insurance claims since the twister hit.

Thats a far cry from your original wild eyed bullshit claim, Butch

And its just a guess from a partisan politician besides, a nobody mayor

I Googled it but for some reason, I couldnt find a single news story to back up your dubious accusation against the insurance industry, Butch.

I'll help you.....HERE...what say you now?

This was a February story...there has still been ....NO... repair or replacement or compensation for these poor families at least in my city.

If Republicans REALLY CARED about the National Debt, they WOULDN'T BE SPENDING MONEY WHICH INCREASES IT, would they?

It's called "Fiscal Responsibility", but I wouldn't expect people who substitute their crazy extremist religious mania for discussing policy to understand that.

Sanity -> RE: East Coast Tea Partiers & Hurricane Irene (8/28/2011 1:37:39 PM)

No, not "all"

Just seeing a leftist somewhere in the neighborhood of reality on occasion would be nice

Instead we get this  constant stream of outright lies, strawman arguments, ad hominems, witch hunts, obfuscation, changing the subject, and on and on with the smears and the bullshit

Does Ron Paul want to give up FEMA?

http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2011/08/ron-paul-who-needs-fema-anyway.html

Did Cantor state any federal aide would be contingent upon budget cuts?

~link previously posted

Come on Sanity... its not that much of a stretch.

Sanity -> RE: East Coast Tea Partiers & Hurricane Irene (8/28/2011 1:51:58 PM)

Putting Pauls or Cantors words in Christies mouth is one hell of a stretch

And Cantor isnt against ALL spending, per farglebargles insane claim above

And I suspect that Ron Paul isnt either

Sanity the bare foundations and half destroyed homes still standing are the proof...by the way Sunset hills is a Republican stronghold here in St. Louis county. This problem has nothing to do with politics just greed.

I used to think you would hold up to your mistakes and admit them...but I've come to believe that you are not objective and not worth arguing with.

Butch

subrob1967 -> RE: East Coast Tea Partiers & Hurricane Irene (8/28/2011 2:56:26 PM)

Don't you love how cutting spending to stay solvent has become ALL spending? The DNC is really ramping up the talking points early this election.

I guess ALL SPENDING has become the new SLIPPERY SLOPE... Oh wait, that was replaced by HATE FILLED RHETORIC... My Bad.

Sanity -> RE: East Coast Tea Partiers & Hurricane Irene (8/28/2011 2:59:40 PM)

You were just caught in a blatant lie and youre trying to say I wont admit my mistakes? [:D]

Your own link backs ME up, but if you want to quit spewing your nonsense in my direction I wont shed any tears, I promise

Im not putting anyone's words into anyone's mouth.

I asked you a few questions. Questions you dont wish to answer.... for obvious reasons.

This thread isnt about all spending... its about disaster spending.

Now, make your argument that Paul or Cantor are not against it, for the reasons I stated before.

Same questions to you, though we both know you wont answer.

You may want to check back and see who mentioned all spending first.

For myself, this is about disaster spending. Do try and keep it within that context.

Chris Christie has his own state, and his own revenue. If he believes the horseshit he says he does, let him spend HIS OWN MONEY and stop reaching into MY POCKET...

farglebargle -> RE: East Coast Tea Partiers & Hurricane Irene (8/28/2011 6:15:23 PM)

Hey, if the stoopid followers of retards like Rick Perry and Chris Christie REALLY BELIEVE like they do that America is evil, and in Perry's case, that he hates America so much he thought LEAVING AMERICA would be a good idea for Texas... Of course, since they suck off more welfare than they pay in, the truth is that the teabaggers are all full of shit.
