Lots of information in the forums for those who take the time to read. You local community is the place to get tons of good information. Many groups have demonstrations of techniques so you can learn to do something safely. You will also meet experienced Doms. Most are very willing to share their knowledge with a newbie.

Welcome! Good stuff here on the boards but CM ain't the only rodeo, cowboy! Find a group in your area to meet folks, and read, read, read! I like Screw The Roses for a beginner's book. As well as Ask A Master, to get a general overview of encouraging ways to approach women of any stripe, I suggest reading the FAQ in Ask A Mistress here (including all links contained therein.) Enjoy the journey.
