In my inbox some user names and bright and others are faded.  I can't figure out why or where on this site to ask.  Does anyone know why this happens?

IF you are getting no answer, you are probably going to their bulk or they are miles behind in the mail.

if you write an email tothe person you will get a response that says "user has blocked you". The email will not be sent to the other person.

I don't know about anyone else but I have always loved knowing I annoyed a troll so much so that they felt the need to block me.

Yes, usernames are coded by roles, and I've been pissed off for 3 years that switches are the same color as subs :(

If he asked for some help with his profile, I suspect he would get some good stuff from the fem members of the community ... but he might end up with scorch marks on that behind ... [8D]

I'll wager it will be more than scorch marks! But a little blood letting might be just the way for him to pick up some helpful hints. Hell, bruises heal up rather quickly, but a bad profile could haunt him a lot longer!

Yup.  But growth almost always involves some pain.

He can have that pain here, in small concentrated doses, or spread it out over months and years as he seeks what he seeks.
