Did you mean to religious people, or nerds? Either way, it was mocking AND funny. Having seen some of their other stuff, I'm absolutely positive that they have nerd writers.

Funny, and it makes me think of high school.

I'm reminded that the people most likely to label someone else a geek were the non-readers who thought social status in school was the most important thing, wouldn't be caught dead at political rally or a food drive, and wouldn't dream of committing to anything that wasn't, like, totally popular with the other conformists.

That's certainly painting an entire group of people with a broad brush.
I didn't find it funny or offensive, just...simplistic.

Well in fairness, from the video...

The point is, there's nothing wrong with faith or spirituality or worship. But if you're the kind of person who'll obsess over something to the point where you're literally going to kill another human, perhaps you should get a less intense hobby than religion.

Hard to argue with that one.
