More obfuscation. I already pointed out repeatedly I am referring to the State of Israel.

PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION.

I AM NOT, AND HAVEN'T EVER BEEN TALKING ABOUT THE STATE OF ISRAEL.

Of course, your entire argument disappears ONCE YOU STOP LYING THAT I WAS.

Stop lying.

Well its easy to label others liars without showing any evidence of it. We were referring to the State of Israel on the old thread, not an abstracted notion of a nation of people. A point was made by another that Jews didn't support the place, and he cited the NK. You then echoed their beliefs, and were the only one to do so in several posts. Here again we were talking about the State of Israel when I stated how your own views on its status were echoed by Islamic radicals. Only then did you try to obfuscate by mixing up the issue.

This is getting very tiresome. You are purposely turning this into a debate on Israel which I'm not interested in discussing at this time. You started this stupid thread, try to stay on topic. My point was that you criticised others for having views akin to Islamists but you possess the same. You have repeatedly failed to address this simple point properly.

I have addressed your assertion.

Pay very close attention.

YOU ARE WRONG.

Now stop wasting everyone's time.

LOL you didn't do it before and even with this opportunity when I challenged you about it again you still didn't answer! All you do is echo PA with "wrong". [:D] You have repeatedly failed to address the fact that your own strongly held beliefs coincide with those of radical Islamists, whilst criticising others for the very same thing. Sounds like double standards.

If criticising Israel is to make statements that agree in certain respects with Islamic extremists, then virtually the entire world is guilty.

This is an utterly specious point to make. It's made necessary by a certain poster's ridiculous habit of interpreting anything less than fawning adulation of Israel as pro-Palestinian sentiments. The world is not as black and white as Zionist ideologues and fanatics would have us believe.

But it is black and white to proven anti-Semites.

We all know what anti-semitism has wrought in this world. Using the term cheaply is an insult to its millions of victims.

Which is why I don't.

Wrong again fargle and your continually abusive posts aren't doing your position any favours. Grow up. As I have said Herzl did not expect anti-Semitism to magically disappear.

What you call "a Pro-democracy agenda limited to the reformation or replacement of THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT" is utter obfuscation. It is empty rhetoric. It is not necessarily the case that all Islamists are anti-democracy. You said before you believe Israel's existence is against God's will so it shouldn't exist. Replacing the government wouldn't change that.

Reforming Israel as you want would effectively turn Israel into another nation because the Jewish majority would be subsumed within a greater Arab Islamic demographic. That is exactly what Hizbullah and the PLO seek because the State would only to exist in name. The Jewish State they hate would be destroyed. Your talk of annexation of the West Bank and Gaza is just a play of words because the Jewish majority would still be subsumed. The whole idea of a Jewish national home upon which Israel was founded would be lost.

This is not at all a claim that criticising Israel would make one have a similar agenda to radical Islamists. I didn't say that. I have repeatedly pointed out that no nation should be above criticism, just as I think it is wrong to label Jews that dislike Israel/Zionism as being self-hating. At issue is the extremism of some religious groups within the ultra-orthodox movement that go as far as to actually campaign for Israel's destruction, strongly allign themselves with Islamists and even blame the Holocaust on Zionists! This is the reason I challenged you on your opinions. Believe whatever you wish, and have values that are very much akin to Islamists but don't condemn others for doing the same. That is hypocrisy.

Mr K, while your point is perfectly correct and valid, it's best to pay no attention to the moron. He's not worth the effort of the keystrokes.

It's pointless trying to change the minds of the mindless.
