After reading the thread on why people online lie, I realized that I don't want or care to know what their motivations for doing so are. As I stated on the other thread, what amazes me is that these people don't seem to realize how transparent they are. Either that, or they think we are all just fools. So, I don't expect anyone to jump up and say "Me, Me, Me"...and I'm not going to name any names...you folks know who you are. I just wanted to tell you that some of us do pay attention and as I said on the other thread, you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. I just want you to know that while you may think you are being clever, you really do look like a jackass. If you could see yourself making the fool out of yourself that many of us see....maybe you would think twice before you do it? Cluelessness is hard to disguise.

Really? Dont really notice them.. there is the clueless.. the retards.. the novices.. and then the respectables. the full of poo's? Eh dunno.. not particularly interested in figuring out and analyzing everyones lives to decide whether they got more poo in them then they should. HeeHaw! HeeHaw! I think that people who make things up to look good are not specific to the internet. I've had a lot of friends in my time (real life) who have felt the need to embellish, fib, and outright lie in their stories to make themselves the center of attention. Hell, in my early teens that could even have described me. They do it to make themselves feel more important and more accepted. As long as it's not hurting anyone, I tend to roll my eyes and not give them any response at all. They tend to quit if you don't fuel the fire with the kind of attention they're seeking.

What ever its called when you feel like you or a situation isnt "good enough" and you gots to make stuff up
