Agia -> Making your own items (9/2/2011 12:31:26 AM)

Anyone found a good place to order leather tools and particularly hardware? Cant seem to find any good locking buckles. Planning on embarking on a collar, wrist, and ankle set but can not seem to find the correct hardware.

Advice?

I get alot of supplies from Harbor Freight and Tractor Supply Co. I admit I look a little out of place when I go into the stores, Farmer John springs a boner watching me play with crops, because it doesn't look like its horses that I like to ride...

You must mean the tongue on a buckle that you can put a small lock on the very end of it? I had a few from an old set of cuffs, i forget where I bought them from?

Try http://www.hardwareelf.com/elf/buckles.jsp  The 10th, 11th, 12th buckles might be what your looking for?

Bingo. Much more of what im looking for then anything I have found. I want something that I can lock. No sneaking it off when im not looking.

http://www.wwlhardware.com/wwl/Buckles.jsp If you want to buy them online. If not you can pick them up in most farm supply places, or anywhere that sells horse bridleing equipment.

I like those too in your link, thanks

OK, I bought all 3 buckles I listed from www.hardware-elf.com The 2 single locking tongues, your belt holes need to be enlarged for the locking tongue to fit thru it. The double tongue buckle, they only sell 1 size, that takes a 2" wide belt, my belt has 2 regular tongues but is only 1 1/2" wide so my belt won't fit it. What I'm saying is, these are the buckles I think the poster of this forum is wanting.
