Status: offline 		I have it that I believe what goes through my mind regarding my sexuality does so for a reason, a reason that needs not always to be stamped down, because I know from experience stamping something down is no way to kill a desire if one is uncomfortable with it, so I am now looking at those things that sail through my mind as a pointer to that which I need to experience, which made me wonder...

The things that go through our mind as we evolve are they a haphazard collection of things, or is there a defined path that the mind is trying to indicate, and by that where we might be the most fulfilled and content ?

I liken the mind to be a river, a constant flow of thought. It may branch off at any time and take a seperate path, but what path, is unknown. To that end, it is more important not to ask what is more fulling, but why it is so. Not to ask why be content, but ask how you got there.

Stimuli and response within the framework of circumstance perhaps. Consider the cornucopia of fetish images and ideas to which you are exposed simply because you chose to be on CM. Evidently some predisposition led you to choose this path. Whether learned or inbred, I don't know. But here you are: exposed to a feast which your mind sorts out. I doubt it is teleological as your question suggests. More trial and error.
