like to be a dominant person and a submissive, so they switch from one
to the other?  Then he wrote me back several times and was very open about
my "mistake "  turn a deaf ear to my meaning  of the word  "switch" !   Told him to come here and ask the for the answer!     I refer him to here this is the right place for an answer, and you get no foolish saying just striaght forward answers!  Now I am asking for the right answer too!!!!!!!!

A switch is someone who is comfortable in both roles.  The roles can be Dominant and submissive (lifestyle), or they could be Top and bottom (scening).

Gayness or lack thereof is not an issue.  Switches can be straight, bi, or gay.  In some instances, they do not even need to relate to others sexually.

A switch can be a person who (depending on the person they are interacting with) can be comfortable in the Dominant or submissive role.

A switch can also be a person who enjoys both topping and bottoming in a BDSM sense, liking to be the person who gives the sensations at some times and receiving the sensations at other times.

A switch is someone who can be dominant or submissive, in the relationship. It does not mean they will be very dominant with you for a week, then, surprise, you wake up to find them groveling at your feet, like they have a split personality, though. It means they are more interested in the whole bdsm dynamic than which side of it they are on, and, more interested in the person than the activity.

Most people are capable of switching, to some extent, but, most are not quite so open-minded, unselfish and people oriented to really just be able to serve or be served that easily, full time.

They are beautiful people, those sort of switches. However, like most things, there is an ugly side to the people who claim to be switches in that some people say they are "switch" but what they really mean is "desperately horny and willing to do anything that will get their cock stroked or a pussy on their face".

If he is a real switch, he may be well worth your time. If he is the other sort, he may be well worth your time, if you just want to play.

(edited because I forgot a paragraph, having gotten used to the weird spacial dynamics of the journal entries)

well butt fuck me jesus!!! a question i am imminently qualifed to answer.

hiya, i am a switch.
it means that i can be top or bottom depending on what we are doing, and i can be dom or sub depending on who i am with. at the moment i am the dom all the time, but bottom close to half the time.

so it depends entirely on the switch exactly what it means because every fucking switch will be different.

  Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I've very rarely come across a sub who can countenance the idea of being submissive to a male switch.  They find it.... counter-intuitive.
