Will you get real ? I mean it. OK, cold fusion works, but you can't do shit with it. So does the "perpetual" generator that's not quite perpetual. So do dry cells.
Now Tesla, if that shit could be implemented I think we would have alot of problems. This summer I had all the normal shit running, plus a beefy AC unit and 1,200 watts of lighting (don't ask what for). Add that up. Might have been about 5,000 peak watts, maybe more when I ran the microwave which is 1,500 by itself. You start pumping that much power through the air shit is going to happen, and it ain't gonna be pleasant.
Whatever the theory behind it you just don't seem to concieve just how much power we consume. Sure the power companies would not like to see it happen, know why ? It would probably kill off half of their customers ! Ten houses on a street with AC, washing machines and electric dryiers, microwave ovens and maybe even electric stoves. Fifty thousand watts might not cover the power drain. You simply can't pump that much fucking power through ANYTHING except wire without some adverse effects. Plain and simple. People are already bitching about all the radio waves, and there used to be rumors that might have been supported by fact that some cellphones caused brain cancer or some shit. Who knows if it was true or not, I don't really care because people who are on the fucking phone all day should fucking die. But fuck all that.
Now if the power companies could get power right out of the air and make it cost feasible they would do it in a heartbeat, and of course sell the power to us. Why don't they ? It is not fucking practical.
Cold fusion. How cold ? What do you get out of it ? How many BTUs ? Our current technology is kinda limited you know, if you can't make superheated steam it simply ain't worth shit.
Really. All this shit could be true and it wouldn't mean shit. You just can't argue against the fact that if something can be had for free, they would be getting it, TO SELL !
