I've always prided myself on having a very strong stomach, so it surprised me when I became VERY nauseous to the point of throwing up after ingesting my mistress's pee (several hours after my last serving and just before going to bed).

I am very new to this, so is it possible that my stomach just needs to be conditioned for this type of activity before being able to hold it down? I have never heard of someone getting sick off of urin. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Thankfully,

There could be all kinds of reasons for it. Anything you take or have is passed out through urin, so if she's on anti biotics you've just ingested the remains of it. If she had a bunch of alchol it's in the urin too.

FelinePersuasion,

She isn't taking any sort of drug/antibiotic and although we both bad some drinks, I certainly wasn't drunk...

I should also note that throughout the day, I had about 6 full servings, but I thought urine was mostly water and sterile.

Thanks for your reply

Yikes!  I will preface this by saying water sports is not something I am at all into but...

Urine is acidic, containing ammonia and urea... things which are supposed to be expelled, not ingested, by the human animal... I have no idea how much you took in, but there is a reason why this stuff is supposed to be passing out of our bodies and not into it.

Sounds to me like the sheer amount you had made you ill. As puella pointed out, the things expelled from the body in urine are expelled for a reason-- they aren't needed and are actually slightly toxic (in the case of urea). While I don't think a small amount would hurt you, unless the person you're drinking from was on drugs perhaps, it's not a good idea to drink huge amounts of it. It is WASTE.
It's also entirely possble the sickness is a bug, or from something you ate, or just from the alcohol. However I would certainly advise against you making a habit of drinking this much.

If you were drinking at all the mixture of the urine and the alcohol...AND the amount that you had is surely the reason.  Im no doctor but it just sounds like that to me.  Not everything that we consume, even with mild alcohol usage, mixes well....and sometimes the amounts of certain things, like to much food even can cause nausea.... especially in the amount that you are ingesting during that period.  My suggestions would be to refrain from the excessive amounts of urine consumption...opting for perhaps just a shower instead.

Puella, slaveofdarkhold and moon69,

Thanks for your input.  It just seems strange to me because I've heard so many stories of people performing this sort of task for their mistress on a much more regular basis and in larger quantities and have never heard of a case of someone actually becoming ill as a result.  I wonder if the amounts of ammonia and urea excreted in urine are enough to actually do physical harm... or if my system would eventually get used to it over time.

bignipples2share, thanks for the fantastic link!  Of most relevance to me was the following comment: "there is some concern that drinking the urine of a woman on the pill could impact your body's hormonal chemistry -- especially problematic if you are male."  Wow!  Hadn't thought of that.

It did put my mind at ease though to find out that in so many areas in the world this is considered a very healthy practice.

Still curious though if anyone else has experienced getting sick from this.

6 full servings...over what period of time?  Everyone's tummys react differently to different substances.  Could be the combination of urine, her alcohol consumtion and your alcohol consumption, in large quantities, was just too much for your physical toleration level.  I couldn't say.  I have never had that much in a day.  Perhaps if she wishes you to consume that amount, you could ask her if she would be willing to dilute it by drinking a lot of water throughout the day as an experiment, to gauge a possible difference in your reaction.

Proudsub, thanks for the thread link—it had a ton of useful information.  It sounds like the starter of this thread had more of a problem with the taste than anything else.  For me, I’ve actually gotten to the point of enjoying the taste.  My mistress has very light and mild flavored pee and I can consume it as if it were water.  What concerned me was that my body rejected it on its own—not the result of a gag reflex triggered by the flavor.  It started with a headache and progressed toward intense nausea.

Ownedgirlie, it was pretty much a day’s worth of pee.  We were experimenting with the idea of having me consume it whenever I was in her presence and she needed to go… although we did miss a few due to inconvenience.  I’m guessing the total amount was about a quart… maybe a more/little less.

My mistress did take vitamins towards the end of the day… maybe this had something to do with it.

Thanks!

This thread interests Me as I love GS, and only once did My sub actually ingest it by accident.

I agree with owned girlie, if you're going to be drinking it everytime She goes, then see if She's willing to drink a lot more water to dilute it.
I think the combo of all the alcohol and all that urine was way more than your system could handle.
As some stated, any medication, vitamins, or herbal remedies will most likely be at the  very least in trace amounts in the urine you're ingesting, so find out what She's taking on a regular basis.

I have yet to check out the link posted, but am on it stat. I just feel golden showers are so erotic, and love giving them, but want to make sure I don't harm My sub in anway if he should accidently ingest it again.
Peace and love, Isis

Great link by 'BigNipples2Share" ...

as to nausea/vomiting status post ingestion of urine
several factors have to be considered (some already mentioned)

1) concentration of the urine ... 1st pee of the morning is more concentrated & aromatic ... and maybe too much for most.  Dilute urine after you are diuresing status post a few glasses of wine or beer, would be less 'flavorful' & aromatic.

2) Smell of the urine: 1) which is directly proportional to concentration (above) & 2) which is related to foods recently ingested (some have been mentioned in this thread, some in the article cited by BigNips.  A lot of our taste sensation is really olfactory, so an objectionable smell will taste bad.  And we've all watched the idiots on Fear Factor trying to swallow nasty stuff.

3) Buffering capacity of your stomach ... pee might bounce on an empty stomach a little easier cuz it can't get mixed in & lost in the contents as easily.  OTOH, a stomach that is bloated w/ food might bounce just cuz it's too full.  Again ... if the smell or taste is too bad or concentrated ... a full stomach might put some power behind the puking :-)

4) Salinity & pH of the urine: if it's too saline, it'll surely cause diarrhea ... and maybe puking because of the taste factor again.  pH affects flavor ... and the higher alkaline pHs can be associated (at least sometimes) w/ more bitter flavors.  Lower acidic pHs will, of course be more sour ... which might be obnoxious to some.

5) Psychological factors:  Just ask your mom or dad to drink down a big cup of warm pee ... and they might retch at the thought of it ... if they don't smack you one first!  Even if pee is optimum flavor, pH, temperature, etc for someone who is used to it ... it can still be very, very nauseating to a beginner or someone who is not in the right mind-set.  Hey ... I LIKE broccoli ... but I remember getting barfy over it as a kid.  Some things just bounce if your head is in the wrong place.

6) What has NOTHING to do with barfing would be if the pee-er has had a drink or 5, or has taken a therapeutic level of a drug ... and drinking the pee is occasional.  (As mentioned in the article, drugs & toxins DO pass in the urine ... but unless a person has taken a lethal dose, or unless all the pee is always drunk ... a single drinking of pee should not cause emesis.)

I have doctor friends who routinely drink their own urine ... admit I've tried it (respecting their opinions & I try to be open minded) ... don't care for it, not interested in it ... end of story.

Hope this is helpful,
ADomDoc

FloridaISIS,

Nice to see someone else post that loves this sort of thing.  As strange as it sounds, I agree with you - while I haven’t tried a shower yet, consuming is one of my most savored things to do for my mistress.  There is such a combination of humility, sensuality, and (in our case) mutual amusement/excitement :-).

I doubt the alcohol had anything to do with me getting sick due to the small amount we had that evening, but the vitamins are extremely probable cause that I hadn't thought of before posting...  I've heard of people getting nauseous from vitamins on an empty stomach, and I hadn't had anything to eat for about 6 hours.

ADomDoc,

Thanks for your informative reply.  I did notice that the first cup of the day was by far the most flavorful (and dark in color), but that was not the serving which caused me to get sick.

As for psychological factors, I really don’t think there are any in my case.  The first time I tried (about a month ago) it I gagged a little, but after that experience, I have gotten quite used to it and actually enjoy it.  This was purely a case of my body reacting independantly of my mind/emotions.

Interesting that you ruled out the possibility of drug/alcohol as the cause.  What about vitamins?

Exactly, slave...ANYTHING your Domme takes is apt to be passed through her body; alcohol, grapefruit juice, diet pills, hormones, heart & cholesterol meds, anti-depressants...

While I'm a huge fan of WS...I've not yet managed to swallow it.  It's entirely the psychological aspects of that would make my stomach roil, too!

I'd take it more slowly and check out what meds she may be taking...

Good luck and have fun...

Pretty simplistic.  The truth is a bit more complex as compounds taken in are metabolized into others.  It's not the body getting rid of things it's not going to use; it's the body getting rid of end products once it has finished using up that it does use.
