OP you will need thick skin and a solid commitment to survive these forums regardless of what role fits you in a BDSM relationship. That being said, LH and LP both saw potential in your greeting and jumped at the opportunity to help you. Most of the posts we see from beginners are, "Hi, i'm only interested in fucking." So naturally, seeing an intro that is fairly intelligent, warm, and doesn't scream 18 year old kid, gets the active posters interested. They are trying to help you. Take thier advice, it's not only sound, it will take you leaps and bounds ahead of all the dumb dumbs posting pics of their junk. BTW, unless a D asks you for a pic of your junk, keep it to yourself. OP, its good to look at other peoples profiles. When you do, ask yourself what you find interesting about what you read. LP and Lance aren't trying to bash you; They are giving you advice that will help you find quality.

Hi patheticloser.... See how terrible that sounds? I felt bad typing it.... Don't be dismayed. In fact, if you need a little bit of inspiration, read the "Positive Experiences" section, including a recent post by two CollarMe folks who have found love here, and are now engaged to be married. Follow the good advice...ignore the bad....be yourself and be patient.

Welcome to the CM and the boards OP. If you want to attract quality, then you have to project quality. LadyP and Lance hit it right on the head. And do be aware that you'll be the one contacting the female Dominants. They don't that as much as the submissives do. Fact of life for male subs. I'm not saying it's easier for a female sub, take my word for it, it sure as hell isn't. And don't expect an answer in a day, a week, a month unless you get extremely lucky. Some of us have been searching for years, on and offline to meet that someone we consider perfect. It takes time like anything worth getting does.
