Aww, I feel sorry for you that you can only see music of today as being "better"! I like music from pretty much all time periods and genres. I prefer not to limit myself in what I enjoy. :)

So what music do you like better? And is there any music that gives you a happy from current works?

It absolutely does! I have this and "Do Ya?" side by side on my iPod and often listen to them during the drive into work in the mornings. They always energize me and make me smile as I sing along. I won't even go into the other 70's tunes I listen to after those. I don't want to be shamed and mocked
