Have you ever watched Who wants to be a Millionaire or an equivalent quiz type American show which gives you a range of possible answers and only one is right, its like multiple choice if you like the fact that you spot orange juice and broccoli as possible answers are ridiculous is good there is only one possible right answer, hint hint its not orange juice and broccoli you will get it by process of elimination kevin

I know you want them to be Lasagne, but that is not what an uncut sheet of pasta is actually called, Lasagne are a certain type of pasta cut and with ruffled edges. The answer is not there, it is either: A) Sfoglia (which is what they are actually called) or alternatively; B) none of the above answers (which is not available) Guglielmo Macaroni

Hm, well... at work, and home, we have "lasagna", which are indeed a type of pasta in sheet form, AND we have "pasta sheets", which are, sheets of pasta... I know, who would have thought to name it something so vague, right? So, technically, sheets of pasta are known as, brace yourselves folks, this is a shocker... "Pasta Sheets". Although Lasagna is a TYPE of sheet pasta, that is NOT what sheets of pasta are known as. If I ask for pasta sheets, I would be very very annoyed if our supplier brought us lasagna, or if one of my assistants brought me lasagna, as that is not what I asked for, by any means.
