not cause of being sick.... but, i'm so sick I can't serve my owners as I should. What a way to start with new owners to. I've only been with Master & Ms since Sunday.... but, I got here sick. Figured i'd just shrug it off like i've always done. But, noooooo... damn sickness has done nothing but get worst.. i've now got a severe upper respiratory infection... sinus shit... and pneumonia. YAHOOO!! :( Damn throat hurts so bad I can't wear my collar cause my whole neck hurts to the touch. Master has forbidden me from leaving the couch except to use the bathroom and Ms is taking care of my meals and chores. That's not the way it should be.... I should be taking care of them. Ms took me to the emergency room last night... got massive drugs to fight off this mess. So, hopefully.... it'll be gone soon and I can get to my normal self and take care of them like I should.

I sympathize, I really do. But they are right, you are sick and seriously so, without taking care of yourself, and that includes allowing them to take care of you, you will not be able to serve them the way you want to. Suck it up, and revel in the knowledge that you have owners who obviously care about you. Get well soon, and remember to take all the pills prescribed.

Don't feel guilty about being sick. A true relationship is in sickness and in health. I am sure there will come a time when one or both of them are ill, and you can provide them the same care and attention they are giving you.

You obviously picked a couple who truly care about you. Getting that sick is no fun, so let them take care of you since you need it. Once you're feeling better then you can start doing your thing. Your health is important to them and you are one of the lucky ones in that they are willing to care for you until you get better. Let them, it's also part of their "job" as your owners to make sure you're in good health. So let them do so and accept it with gratitude. No need to feel guilty this is not something you can control. Hope you feel better soon.

HutchGarahl, You are doing exactly what you are supposed to do. You have two people who care about you and want you to get better, that is exactly the way it should be. Cheer up! Keep taking your meds, you'll get better and then you and the M's can get back to the cheerie stuff.

Well I suppose your other option is to force yourself to serve while you are sick and keep getting sicker and then eventually die from it. Then you'll inconvience your SIR AND MS. with a funeral expense. Youre dammned if you do and youre dammned if you dont. Fuck it.

I agree with heather... with the exception of the "allow" part. You were told.. commanded.. to stay on the couch and rest. Your job, as their slave, is to obey. You are their property, and from your own post you are not being abused... thats a great thing. Obeying isnt always easy... it isnt always pleasant.... it isnt always what we want. But it is what they want, what you need..... Feel blessed you have found such owners. Good Luck! I dont think you need it. [:D] [;)]

Think about it this way: How much worse would you feel if you stayed on your feet, taking care of things, and then died? If you think having to take care of you for a few days is a pain, wait until they have to deal with florists. And family. And all that food. Note: My tongue is planted firmly in cheek.

You misunderstand your role. Your role is to serve. Not "take care of", but to serve. And the nature of that serving is something they choose. Right now, you serve them by following their explicit instructions regarding the care of THEIR property. Specifically, you. Understand, that by heeding those instructions, you are serving them as always. There is no distinction between serving them as you would when healthy and serving them as you do now. It is critical that you correct your misunderstanding of this issue.

Yea.... I was very fortunate to find this particular couple. They're very understanding and caring people. Guess what irritated me was I was so looking forwards to serving them right off.... but this damn sickness thwarted that idea. :P I'm feeling better today. Master says if i'm up to it Friday, then I can do a few things... but will still need to rest. Gotta take it slow. :P Awareness... I don't misunderstand anything. To me, serving and taking care of are the same. I was a Dominant... I know my place and what i'm supposed to do.
