I loves me some Rick Steves. Great travel books, and now, political activism. He is going to get this sucker on the ballot in Washington, too.

I don't smoke pot, nor do I drink, or do any recreational drugs, and I don't think anybody should. I think they are bad for you. But I think you should be allowed to if you want to. The guy <whoever he is, I've never heard of him before> is, in my opinion, right, it is a civil liberty issue.

He has celebrity status in this State and he has teamed up with a former US attorney to get a legalization measure on the ballot. I think it will at least get on the ballot. Whether it passes or not is another story, but the anti legalization campaign should rival "Reefer Madness"in it's hysteria.
