Funny thing about the so-called super thermite. The actual technical term is NANO-THERMITE, and was in very LIMITED supply. quote:
A method for producing nanoscale, or ultra fine grain (UFG) aluminium powders, a key component of most nano-thermitic materials, is the dynamic gas-phase condensation method, pioneered by Wayne Danen and Steve Son at Los Alamos National Laboratory. A variant of the method is being used at the Indian Head Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Another production method for nanoaluminium powder is the pulsed plasma process developed by NovaCentrix (formerly Nanotechnologies). The powders made by both processes are indistinguishable. A critical aspect of the production is the ability to produce particles of sizes in the tens of nanometer range, as well as with a limited distribution of particle sizes. In 2002, the production of nano-sized aluminium particles required considerable effort, and commercial sources for the material were limited. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nano-thermite[link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nano-thermite#cite_note-Murday-3][/link] Another point to consider is that it is NOT a paintable substance. The so called super thermite paint is a myth. It is a powder, like regular thermite and, while it does not require the large weights as regular thermite, it still needs to be present in some mass, much more than paint. The ONLY incidence of thermite paint in history was the dope they used on the skin of the Hindenburg. The mixture was even tested on Mythbusters and proved highly flammable, in the specifications as provided by records of the building of the Hindenburg. A "super dope" with the worst, or best possible mixture proved to be even more flammable, but did not burn long enough, even with the hydrogen gas present, to melt the steel wire frame of the model. Nano thermite requires a couple of pounds to burn through a steel beam, as demonstrated in a National Geographic special, "9/11 Truths and Conspiracies." It still needs to be packed around the beam. Nano Thermite paint just is not enough to do the job. Of course, the conspiracy theorists will claim that the type used is strictly military, and only exists in military stores, and has no bearing on the articles on the net. The process used to make Nano Thermite was developed by Los Alamos National Laboratory.
