Status: offline 		Before I rented this house I called to ask about it . The property manager had me take a photo of my driver's license and text it to her. she then texted me the code to the lock box. I came over and leisurely looked over the property without anyone buzzing in my ear. On another house, I stopped by the management company and they scanned my driver's license and gave me a key and told me to return it within 24 hours.

Status: offline 		Were there furniture and belongings in the houses that you were allowed to go into alone? I guess I could see that...you can't very well steal an entire house.

Status: offline 		No, they were both vacant and empty. In both cases it would have been extremely easy to go make a copy of the key even though the houses were empty. I can understand why they do it that way. Saves them time and trouble and hassle showing the properties. I loved it. I took my time looking the houses over and took many pictures so that I could get a second opinion from my girlfriend who lives hundreds of miles away. No realtor or owner buzzing around your ear like a gnat. For the house I rented I applied for the home online, as well. I never actually met anyone associated with the property until the day I signed the lease.

As for hunky's brother, it sounds like he and the realtor possibly had a little communication breakdown. There are lots of homes on the market these days. The more impediments you put in place the longer your property will sit unsold or not rented.

Not odd at all, the realtor probably had a good relationship with the people that went into the house, worked with them a while or before, or whatever. If it happens once in a while, no big deal, if it happens 10 times a day, thats a problem.
IMO, you bro needs to "let go" and let people do their job. If he isn't happy with a realtor he can always list it himself and do all the footwork, that way he has control over who see it and when.
