Yeah,saw that ,though my feelings are still a little hurt....seeing as you never answered me directly .I am a sensitive sort,I mean the least you could have done would be to acknowledge your error in accusing me of "trying to change the subject".... but I guess you were too busy tying your self in knots trying to compare a one time error with a broadcast policy [:)]

It's perfectly easy to use, Mike. You click the reply or quote button of the particular post you are responding to, address yourself to the poster you mean, or if nothing else, note that you are using the fast reply box, and have no idea who it is going to say down there.

Or...and this is just me spitballing here....you read the damm thread and try to follow along...since my post was preceded by sanity's reference to Perry's silly ponzi assertion I didn't feel there was any mystery. Sheesh you sure are working overtime to avoid admitting you were mistaken

Social Security is obviously a ponzi scheme. Its not an investment, you dont get your own money out of it. Its not based on interest, or any actual savings locked away on your behalf. It was designed and sold as a pyramid, with the next generation paying for the previous - and actual tax monies were never supposed to be involved. Now that people are living longer and reproducing less, its going broke. Tits up, as they say, like all ponzi schemes eventually do. And there is no money to pay for the expense, something that everyone knows but few are willing to acknowledge. Anyone who proposes a real workable solution is instantly demonized... So whats to do. why oh why are federal public funds used for NPR and PBS? And I worked for an npr/pbs affiliates in my career in broadcasting... ending as a news director. Was on the small committee that formed "all things considered" so I have some background in the business. They were biased when I worked for them back in the 70s and 80s and are much worse now. If there is public funding, I damn well demand a say in programming. The point is... with cable.. there is no need for public funding of programming watched primarily by wealthy leftists.

ATC was first broadcast in May 1971. You claim to be 57 years old. You would have been 17 in 1971. Would you please stop telling such obvious lies.
