I no longer feel inferior to anyone. I spent a great deal of my life feeling inferior to others, but praise be to me those days are all gone!!!

I, like many others, feel a sense of submission that comes from a person who displays amazing attributes and prefer not to interact in submission based on shame, inadequacy or inferiority today.

This, to a tee.

As for the OP being alone in what he feels, no.  There are lots of men who feel inferior to women. There are lots of women who feel inferior to men.  These folks may not be in the majority, but they're out there.

Hmm i think the word inferiority was the wrong one to use. It was kind of not meant in a self worth context. But more my feelings towards women that they possess a much greater ability to have control over myself than i ever could over them. I respect women greatly. If i speak to a dominant woman that feeling of their superiority is always there in my mind. But if i speak to a Dominant man, for me a dominant man does not exist.

Kinda curious if that will get the outrage that always pops up when a man says a dominant woman does not exist.
If not I am saving this thread for future gender bias arguments.

I used to feel this way, only the opposite.  I no longer do. In fact, while I believe there are dominant men and women, it is actually very rare now that I have submissive feelings toward either.  My owner was/is one of those rarities for me.

DesFIP -> RE: Inferiority complex (9/12/2011 4:21:30 PM)

Feeling submissive towards someone is one thing. However if you feel inferior to them, then I'd take that as a red flag.

Beyond that, just as you would object to a sub female bowing at your feet and calling you master, most women you are not in a relationship with will object to you automatically submitting to her. In fact, it makes your submissiveness a thing of very little value, if you submit to everyone and everyone based on the sole criterion that they have a vagina and not a penis.

It shouldn't. In his mind, a dominant man does NOT exist. In mine a dominant anyone does not exist. (well except the guy that pays my paycheck.:) ) Certainly there are people better then me at some things, worse then me at others, to be respected perhaps.
I hate the phrase "To each their own", it always sounds dismissive and patronizing, but in this case kinda fits.

In his mind, women are to be worshipped. there's plenty of folks that think other people are "superior", and will only submit to such. Other races, cultures etc.

I say more power or lack of power and fun for all, it will make for less stressed people on the road. :)

I dunno, I've had that feeling before. Then you have to look at the person, not male or female, and decide what they are worth. Some females are not worth worshipping, eg. Casey Anthony. My advice would be only worship those who deserve it, it usually doesn't take long to decide whether that person is worthy or not.

Nah, he's clear that the distinction is in how he perceives them. It's like a lesbian saying, "For me, heterosexual men are not on my radar sexually."

ControlImYours -> RE: Inferiority complex (9/14/2011 1:55:57 PM)

Don't worry I am not saying I submit to anyone and everyone just because they are female. I am still quite picky :)
