This is not about me trying to teach anyone anything. This is just where I will be answering the questions that people keep invading my inbox to ask me. I will not discuss the answers, I will not read replies to anything I say. It's just that so many people seem so deeply concerned with these basic questions, and, it is not always easy to discern the difference between the people who are just trying to pick a fight, the people who are concerned for me, and the people who are truly seeking an answer for their own sake, so I will post the answers here, refer them to this post, and, let them sort out their own motivations. Starting with this: 2 Corinthians 11: 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works. This answer is in regards to questions about how I could possibly believe in God, when so many people claim to be working for Him and yet bilk people out of their money, or, how it is I could believe Christians have anything to do with God, or .. you know, any of those sort of questions. Here's the facts: A Christian is someone who follows the teachings of the Christ. As Jesus pointed out to the Jewish leaders of his day, if they had admitted they were "blind", didn't know what they were doing and asked for help, they would have been forgiven for their false teachings and helped to learn the proper teachings, but, since they stubbornly refused to learn, when they had everything they needed to accomplish that learning, they were taking the side of Satan and were not God's people at all, no matter that they set themselves up as religious leaders. Do you really think Jesus gives more leeway for Christian leaders who act the same? Please! If they are teaching falsely, they have chosen not to belong to God, and, if they say otherwise, it is a lie. So, I do not see the false teachings and practices of others as proof of lack of power or lack of integrity of God. Jesus taught that there would be divisions and sects, false teachers and people falsely claiming to be him, especially the closer toward the end we get. Surprise! It has happened. This is not proof that God is a liar, or does not exist, it is proof that a man, about 2,000 years ago, lived, who aptly prophesied that this would happen. A man, by the way, who went around raising up the dead, being talked to directly by God within hearing of others, curing illnesses and infirmities, etc. all in a glorious political campaign, which, in effect was to say "God can rule you. He is not just saying he can do this for you and make you healthy and happy. Here is the proof." So, back to scripture quoted above. Jesus told the false religious leaders that Satan was their father. Likewise, then, the false religious leaders who claim to be Christian have Satan as their father. Therefore ... 2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works. ... is about those false religious leaders, too. They pretend to be ministers of righteousness. Their deceit is seen by God. They will be punished by God. However, as falsely as any may teach, the rest of us are free to open up the Holy Scriptures, read them, study them, and pray for guidance in understanding them. So, the religious leaders are at fault for their part in the ignorance of their congregants. But, each congregant is at fault, for failing to perceive their deception and have them removed, in favor of someone who will teach the truth. God is the only one in the equation who is not at fault. And, I, for my part, read the Holy Scriptures and eschew the religious meetings of those whom I know to teach falsely. Thank you.
