Question for everybody the favorite name calling thread made me think of this. My ex-sub lady like being called bitch, slut whore etc. I would come up with these names to catch her off guard like I would call her a strumpet or a jezzabel and she would start cracking up laughing for a moment even while she was tied up getting a good ass spanking. How do Doms feel about this, would it make them mad if that happened to them like their sub was not taking them serious. I thought it was a humorous break and I always went for the humor. How does a sub feel about humor in the bed ?

Sometimes ya just gotta laugh.

So..my Master had me cum today in the middle of a crowded airport terminal and it was oh so very difficult to disguise - so much so that the man sitting across from me set down his newspaper and watched with a grin.

And when I was allowed to stop, I burst out laughing - - God knows why but I did. At the degree of embarrassment I felt, most likely.  I called him cruel and evil and laughed my ass off.  And yes the man with the newspaper was still grinning at me. So was a woman a couple of seats over.

Is that not taking my Master seriously?  Oh I hardly think so.   [:D]

From my own experience not with names but with something else.... I once waxed my ex's ass.... as in wax on riiiip off.... and god help me no matter how bad I tried not to laugh, every time I ripped a strip off and he screamed like a lil girl I about fell over laughing. I couldnt help it and I felt soooo bad about it. Even now just thinking about it I laugh cause it was just funny....
 
( a little info about this... he's a sam basically and he boasts about how nothing hurts... yadda yadda... to the point that even a good sound beating and the boy would make no sounds and ask for more or say oh yeah what was that a fly landing.... even though you just know it hurt like hell.... so the whole waxing thing came about because I wanted to fem him a bit, I used to shave him everyday from pretty much the waist down.... this was the previous act before we switched over to the shaving.... I waxed his legs, shaved his groin and waxed his ass .... and every time I pulled off a strip he screamed and it just I dunno.... I was rollin and I couldnt help but feel satisfied that for ones he wasnt running his mouth about oh that didnt hurt.... ( now before anyone gets the wrong idea I did make sure it wasnt an ouch he couldnt handle.... and he wasnt calling a safe word or anything but oh boy he squeeels )

Unless we are in a designed High Protocol period, laughter is par for the course in this house. During High Protocol, I'm too damn focused to be laughing.. and I believe the same is true of Himself. We laugh less (if at all) at those times, which is probably why they are not the norm, but the exception to day to day life.

Humor in the dungeon is a good thing.(in my opinion) Although from time to time it can be disruptive to others’ moaning groaning and whimpering in surrounding scenes to hear laughter follow each snap of the cane or sting of the crop. Someone once told me to hit them with my best shot. Of course when I did hit them, they cracked up laughing, claiming I hit like a girl. Well I do hit like a girl, but my favorite places to hit are the tip of a hard cock and tightly tied up balls. There was not as much laughter after that. I do think that laughter in the right circumstances can be very exciting. I know I have caused many a masochist to shudder at the sound of my laughter from the sheer joy I derive from his suffering.  LdyS

Master has made me giggle a few times during the preliminaries and neither of us has an issue with it. If he did he would not do it on purpose after all.

Don't they say that laughter is the best medicine?  Sometimes, I think we all take ourselves too seriously.  The ability to laugh at one's self, no matter what, is one of the best traits in a person, IMHO.  If I can't laugh with my Master, he isn't for me.

The are times in bed when Sir will nibble and bite my nipples, or smack or stroke my thigh and all I can do is laugh.  My laughing in turn gets him to laughing........
 
Humor is a good thing, and humor in bed between sub/slave and his or her Dom is a definite good thing

I find that the world these days has a huge void in the humor department---My home is filled with laughter---the only time I do not allow it is in punishment.

"A bit of crumpet" is slang for a very sexually desirable woman, a piece of ass. So isn't a strumpet probably someone's bit of crumpet?

i can be very cheeky and mischievious at times, and enjoy laughing at myself as much as anything else that *tickles my fancy* (pun intended [;)])... so for me, if He didn't have a great sense of humour then the chemistry wouldn't have been there in the first place... as for *humour in bed*... why not??? it's not all serious business [:D]
(well, IMHO anyway)... besides... who wants to take themselves or life too seriously all the time anyway???

I try not to giggle at things Master says because english is his third language, and he is amazingly fluent... but you know, sometimes words come out of his mouth that are just so alien to every day english that I can't help but giggle a little bit.

Like the other day he said the word "goolies". I don't think I've heard that word since the mid-nineties [sm=biggrin.gif]

One of the most enjoyable things in life is the ability to laugh. My former Master was pretty intense in play, but even with him, at the most serious of times he would look at me, seem to know I needed a break and say something that would just make me crack up.

Oh i am a goofball. I laugh all the time and hate being too serious. Me and my Sir laugh all the time, we were playing once and he smacked me but hit an awkward area and i just went "ouch" but it a dorky way. he couldnt stop laughing, which in turn got me laughing that then had to stop sex for a few so we could compose ourselves. I love those times, last time i found out he is ticklish and i would be passing and "accidently tickle him" which would then make him throw me down and tickle me...thats not as funny as when im doing it to him though lol.
