A racist is one who recognizes the differences in the race. Webster goes on to define a racist as someone who believes their race is superior. Most of you have obviously been to grammar school, and many to college. Look at the root of the word.

When a person (or close) thinks they are superior because they belong to a certain race, that is not racism. That is bigotry. That is supremacy. That is wrong.

I am indeed better than some people, but not because of my lineage, I have excelled in certain things and my own accomplishments are what make me better than those who have not accomplished what I have.

Equality is a joke, there is not even equality within each race. I know a Black Doctor and a White crackhead. Are they equal ? hell no.

I used the word Jewish in a post recently and they came down on me like vultures. People exited the thread, probably bocked me and all that. Why ? Because the media and government have trained you to shun any knowledge of different trait(s) of different people(s).

I want my cornedbeef eating lawyer to deal with the agancies mentioned in the other thread (Child support) to find the original order that said he gets the kids every other weekend, and straighten out the license problem at the source. I want my Italian lawyer to contact the government, as he has defended against this type of shit. And then I want the Jewish lawyer to figure out a monetary value to sue for, if he can sue under tort law.

I have now insulted three ethinic groups by saying that they would be my choice, the best for the job. Is that really true ? This doesn't even go back to their traits or abilities, it goes back more to what connections they might have in the court system.

Having said what I said, people (some) reacted vehemently. Not interested in the thread at all, no matter what it is worth, because I used the word Jewish.

Let me enlighten you, there are almost 1.000 Jews in jail in Israel now for refusing to go back to the occupied terriories (in their reserve corps). Each one of them has more respect of mine than any Bush family member, and that includes our current "President".

Bush is more of a traitor than even FDR, who ordered the RADAR equipment removed when he recieved the intel that Pearl Harbor was about to be attacked. Go ahaead and refute it all you want, but the memo is part of the public record, and was retrieved with the Freedom Of Information Act. Refute it all you want, it is still true.

Israel's attack on the USS Liberty is also fact, as much as they would like it to go away.They did it to prevent us, their allies supposedly, from finding out what they were doing in Egypt.

In all fairness, it is not the real Jews doing this, it is the Zionist Jews, who kind of moved in on the Hebrews a few centuries ago.

I have Jewish friends, and they do not support what Israel is doing. If they did, I doubt we would be friends. They are good people. As with us, what the government does is not exactly what we wanted.

To say the least.

To pussyfoot around the Jews all day long is a waste of time. Accept them how they are and deal with it. Most of them are just fine.

But now let's talk about niggers. A nigger has no specific skin color. Never did. In the south this term got applied to a bunch of races. What they did in the south was uncalled for, and I exclaim, I did not do it. Whatever the different areas/regions/tribes these people were taken from is irrelevant. They should have been left alone. Be it known RIGHT NOW, that I will never call a Black person a nigger. Not even joking. It is unfair.Black people have my unmitigatable respect, for actually being able to claim that their ancestors did NOT abandon their country. Think about it.

My people did not enslave anyone, we got here at the turn of the century, 1900s. Tell you what, I think it was wrong and very fucked up for them to have seperate drinking fountains, restrooms and even restaurants. We did not need that. If you drink out of the same water fountain you become Black ? come on. It is surprising that people were that stupid. Or was it "Don't give them the White water, they might turn color". What a bunch of shit.

This is all a bunch of shit, anyone born in this country has the same rights as anyone else born in this country. That is Law. What you do in your personal life is your own business, but you must treat people fairly. All people. To do otherwise is stupid.

I am going to plunk it down right now. If you managed somehow to get your ass born, you got every bit as much right to live on this planet as I do. I don't care if your Parents came from fucking Mars, if you were born here that's it. I will fight to the death to defend the rights of people of another race. Will you ?

You call me what you want, and even piss me off, and I will still fight for you too. Who will do the same ?

If you popped out of a womb on US soil I owe you my allegience. We all owe each other the highest solidarity, even if it's not what the government says. That is the Law.

I used the phrase Jewish lawyer once and a few people went off. Are you crazy ? I actually used this guy in a criminal case. We talked alot and I am convinced he is a fine litigator. The reason I used him is that he is connected in the venue. Sweet deal.

In another venue I would have used a different lawyer. When I speak of three different lawyers, anybody doing any business should know. You don't keep all three on retainer, (not cheap), but you do want to have a good repoire with them at all times.

Racist ? sure, but I am more interested in the differences between Polacks and Ukrainians than Black and White, or Jew and Gentile. I try to be practical and realistic. The main fact is that we all own a piece of this planet, and also, which many seem to forget, owe this planet our very lives.

As do we all.

Who among us has the right to say another has not the right to happiness ?

And there are about a dozen different definitions of racist. Google yields a few more. I think the last one I listed is closest to the way most people use the term. I don't think the above rant is going to help your case though, it actually makes you sound worse than the other thread.

    bigot: One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

    Sounds like the same thing to me. T, I don't know if you're a racist/bigot or not, but the reason some got upset with you is adding "Jewish" to "lawyer"; Jews are often stereotyped as money-hungry, and as lawyers, as if they have a natural affinity for it.

    I think you just touched on the sensitivities of a few here - Nothing more. I'm Sicilian with just an inkling of blood from the fighting Irish. I'm damn proud of my heritage - both sides. But say anything you want about either culture around me, and I'll never be offended.

    And by the way... I get told all the time that I have a typical ginny nose when they're not sure I'm Italian in the first place - I just wink back at em'

    It's a bit hard to believe because the radar did pick up the incoming Japanese planes.  Unfortunately, there was a delivery of 12 B-17 bombers scheduled for that morning. (They arrived during the attack to the amazement of the pilots and crew.) So, the officers in charge believed the incoming blips detected at about quarter past 7 were the bombers.

    of course.  Want to know why?  Cos others want to attach their own issues to others words.  Repeat : screw you, think what you will.  Its that easy.  As people will think as they will about others.  Half the time ppl are right and half the time people are wrong.  Its an unfortunate human race problem.

    I guess it is all straightened out now. Some of you like me and some of you don't, surprise surprise. One thing is for sure though, if I am damnned, I am damnned for what I am.

    So someone has blocked me, what does that do to me ? Absolutely nothing, it is they who will not see, and get a chance to respond, retort or whatever, even try to insult me.

    Agree to disagree, go ahead and make your point, try to convince me you are right. I thought that was what it's all about. You also have every right to bury your head in the sand, if that is what you wish.

    When it comes right down to it, it has probably become apparent to people that my background was not quite the norm. (can say that again). I see things differently. Thing is, I have other opinions as well, but none are likely to create a monster a big as this one. I have opinions about the economy, medicine all kinds of things. If I post them are they likely to cause bandwidth problems ? No.

    No subject is as touchy as this, why ? What insecurity exists in some people's minds that make them literally run away from certain things ? When people bend over backwards to prove they are not something, it must be pretty near the surface. I will resort to no such acrobatics. Reality is just too important.

    JohnWarren, I will look for the number. It is indeed hard to find. I should probably refrain from mentioning it until I got the proof. IIRC it is not from FDR himself, either the Secretary of Defense or something.

    Level, I did not know that about the origin of the N word. I thought it was an American invention. I guess I am guilty to some degree of the type of nationalism (or imperialism) like an Englishman who thinks Baird invented television, while we "know" it was Farnsworth.

    Anyway, so much for beating this subject to death for now. We all know where we stand. I want to go read something about sex or bondage or something.

    The bombers were on route to the Phillipines as part of the US preparation for an expected Japanese attack.   They were stopping at the Islands to refuel.

    You think someone scheduled them to arrive at the same times as the surprise Japanese attack as a joke?  Really, what world do you inhabit?

    I was in the library this morning when a book I'd been planning to read, Somalia on $5 a Day, was returned by a patron.  I'd been assigned to reshelve in nonfiction and it ended up in my cart.  Does this coincidence mean there was some sort of a plot to make sure I got the book?

    I think the army commander, General Short, called them in to assist in recon around the islands. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they were unarmed.

    What was the point of the OP then?  I'd say that was bending pretty far backwards.  You took the time to write a completely seperate, and fairly long thread about why you aren't racist, when all you had to say in the other thread was "I'm not racist," and let it go.  Does it float that near the surface for you?

    Depends on the definition of unarmed.  Some had machine guns on board, but none had ammo.  The main consideration was to cut down weight to a minimum to allow them to have the longest possible flight duration.  After all, we were at peace.

    It was a very exciting morning for those flyboys.
