Your reasoning makes absolutely no sense mike, but what else is new.

I suppose I should be nicer, and find  it in my heart to show more pity for you. After all, in a few hours everyone will forget that I posted the wrong link but your lurching stupidity is going to follow you all the way to your grave.

No you are not an asshole for putting up the wrong link...you are an asshole for putting up a link to an editorial which actually and directly shoots your whole argument to pieces.Anyone can make a mistake, yours tended to make a mockery of your whole damm post....but that's no surprise to me,after all you are a complete idiot has as been demonstrated time and time again.[:D]

Sanity -> RE: Perry OpEd On Social Security (9/12/2011 11:53:54 AM)

Not according to the keepers of the flame, so to speak. But I am not going to argue with you, believe what you will.

slvemike4u -> RE: Perry OpEd On Social Security (9/12/2011 11:56:17 AM)

ROFLMAO...keep telling yourself that sanity....just remember as anyone comes along and reads your OP they just might click on to your link...wherein they will read an editorial that completely debunks your new hero's suicidal ponzi scheme statement.
On reflection I can see why you like Perry....both of you have an uncanny ability to shoot yourselves in the foot.[:)]

pahunkboy -> RE: Perry OpEd On Social Security (9/12/2011 12:01:54 PM)

Perry wants a cat food commission.

Sanity -> RE: Perry OpEd On Social Security (9/12/2011 12:03:46 PM)

Anyone with more intelligence than you, and even a shred of intellectual honesty, will look for Perrys actual words if they are interested in finding a way to fix our broken system

The USAToday editorial staff, like all leftists, find it easy enough to rag on those who are willing to address the problems, but where are they when it comes to proposing serious solutions?

Sanity -> RE: Perry OpEd On Social Security (9/12/2011 12:05:51 PM)

Funny how you are making more sense than the leftist loons are today, in a freakish comic book sort of way

slvemike4u -> RE: Perry OpEd On Social Security (9/12/2011 12:22:55 PM)

Finding Perry's op-ed isn't the issue, that was easy enough to do....USA Today supplied the link, while tearing up Perry's ponzi scheme nonsense.
That's another thing Perry has in common with you, neither one of you can just be honest and admit to being wrong....in his op-Ed Perry suggests fixes for what he has described as a ponzi scheme. Here's the rub though, ponzi schemes are illegal,if he truly believes it is nothingmore that a ponzi scheme and a "monstrous lie" told to the nations youth than it follows there is no "fix".... I mean what do you do when you come along a "monstrous lie" and a ponzi scheme to boot...why you get rid of it right?
Which is of course a ridiculous proposition....as is Perry's statement, yet rather than admit he was wrong and that he should not have expressed himself that way....he now tries to explain how he will fix this scheme and alter this lie.......sounds like a poster I know ...and detest.[8|]

If Perry's so fucking wonderful, then how come Texas is a shithole?

And by shithole I mean,

50th among the states in the percentage of its population 25 or older with a high school diploma, per capita spending on mental health, the percentage of non-elderly women with health insurance, the percentage of pregnant women who receive prenatal care and share of its workforce covered by workers’ compensation.

No. 1 in executions, share of its population that lacks health insurance and five categories of air pollution

I'm laughing at that. You must be thinking about Hillary's testicle lockbox.

I wonder how many gullible people out there actually believe that theres real money put away in a "lockbox" somewhere for their Social Security

Perry may well live to regret the "Ponzi scheme" nonsense. Pawlenty's endorsement of Romney is a blow to Perry as well.

Lest anyone not fully understand TGs quote, the next sentence is "We rate Carney’s statement False." referring to Carney claiming that Perry said he wanted to secede. That was never an issue to anyone who read what he said, and was thoroughly debunked on this board long before Carney misstated it.

Harvard's . :)

slvemike4u -> RE: Perry OpEd On Social Security (9/12/2011 2:08:06 PM)

Yeah, moron... Im an asshole for posting the wrong link... I bet it really hurts to be as stupid as you! [:D]

Heres the link

http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/story/2011-09-11/Rick-Perry-Social-Security/50362610/1

Apparently, Perrys OpEd was in response to the left leaning USAToday rant against the man

quote:

ORIGINAL: slvemike4u

What an unbelievable asshole,I urge everyone to actually click on the insane ones link...rather than wind up at Perry's op-ed piece you will be taken to USA Today's editorial in which they convincingly debunk Perry's ponzi scheme statement...( within this link is another link that will finally get you to Perry's op- Ed wherein he tries to walk back the cat on his statement...without actually apologizing for his silly mischaracterization of a program which has played a large ,probably the largest part,in reducing elderly poverty to about 10% today from what USA Today cites experts who believe was at 50% at the time of the depression)

Actually the Perry link was right in the US Today article.
