If anyone here has the chance I would reccommend watching a film that seem to be very close to the situation we have in Iraq/Afganistan. Although this film is not well known, it is very close in terms of the structure they use to what we have at the moment - Wag the Dog (De Niro/Hoffman). In the movie they actually pic on Afganistan because 'they've done nothing for the us' and they need a story to bury bad news about the fictious president.
