Not sure anyone will know who this guy is if you haven't seen Spartacus or are from Oz. But the Andy was the title character in Spartacus Blood n Sands, amazingly hot as a series..staring with Lucy Lawless(Xena). At the end of the first season they started filming a second season when Andy was diagnosed as having non hodgkins lymphoma. Today it was announced he had passed away I haz a major sad. So RIP Andy, my heart goes out to all his family, friends and fans.

Wow... I heard he only got diagnosed last year... What a terrible shame

Wow,that happened so damm quick. Rest in Peace. As an aside when I was 14 I had the first of what was to become three(over the course of my life) lymph node biopsies ,one of the things they were looking for was hodgkins.Obviously and thankfully they never found anything....I have since decided Doctors are not allowed to look at or examine my throat.....I got sick of the scars.

Yes it was pretty quick. He was diagnosed and that was when they filmed the prequel and put the second season on hold while he was treated. It was announced he was in remission and filming for the second season was set to start. Then suddenly came the word that it was back and he was leaving the show while going back into treatment. Then nothing else until the report of his passing. It is always sad when you see someone so vibrant one day crushed by an illness the next.
