...no not the kinky kind you pervs! I am talking about a pure physical response you get to someone who flips all your desire buttons. What attracts you on a level that is primal?

For me it is a man that is confident, playful, secure, and outwardly masculine. Someone who gives off a Marboro man vibe (but does not smoke). Someone like Tom Selleck or Sam Elliot that have a ruggedness to their features really make me blush even when I glance their way.. and some, even when I look at their images. Today I had the pleasure of working with a client I see very infrequently but each time I see him I have that primal response that screams "take me".

So what attracts you? Not just the intellectual stuff, but the physical please

I've never experienced the "animal" level of attraction you speak of. I've been attracted to plenty of people, but it's always a manageable amount. I don't get all wonky and stunned, nor does my "primal response scream take me", I guess. Sounds rather alarming and potentially disadvantageous, actually!

Blonds. I have me a weakness for blonds. Ideally taller than me <not difficult>, slim and not to busty with a smart ass "fuck you" attitude and a thirst for living life.

Yeah, that gets my "take me now!" response going.

I enjoy the feeling of being at a disadvantage. Visually men in my life were spectacular in my earlier dating years. And <g> I like them blond too.

someone who oozes confidence, walks with an almost arrogant stride and looks hot in a well tailored suit and a nice pair of jeans, a man who takes care of himself physically and has a clean cut conservative look.

Smiles alot and easily, 6ft+, clean cut, well traveled, decisive, a natural born leader, nothing to prove.

And Johnny Depp....there is nothing about him I do not like.

Male, position of authority, considerably older than i am, not skinny, someone who ignores me or acts like they're too good for me. Someone whose approval i try to earn but never can. i'm not proud of that, but, yeah. There it is.

Considering some of the men that have "flipped my switch", to paraphrase your description, I don't think it's looks. Sure, a hot looking guy can inspire lust, but for a man to illicit a certain je ne sais quoi within me...the kind where I find myself turning into a puddle of goo, that's another matter. I wish I could answer, but I seriously don't know. Definitely confidence is part of it. But not cockiness. As I'm sure you know, there is sometimes a fine line there. Definitely intellect.
And as for physical traits, I can tell you what I do like, in terms of a "fantasy" man, but not all of these were present in the guys who have made me want to go up to them and say "I'll do anything you want".

Height - over 6 feet tall is a bonus
Hair - I am a sucker for long hair. Hair colour is not so much an issue.
Nice upper arms and shoulders - anything from nicely toned to big and muscular
Nice ass - a cute nice round butt...yumm
A nice package - not too big, not too small, just right :D
Smile - a nice one...but i find most smiles are nice :)
Eyes - especially if he can do that piercing gaze thing where I sqirm. *hee hee!*
Lips - full lips...oh yeah...drool...
Hygiene - last but definitely not least...if he doesn't have good hygiene, I'm just squicked out. A bit man scent is good though. ;)

Edited to correct a misunderstanding.

I enjoy confidence. This guy oozes confidence and doesn't seem cocky about it so yeah I know what you mean. When he talks to me he is fully engaged, he looks in my eyes and tries to draw me in.. or at least that is what it feels like. I actually have to break contact and look down or I would be in full on blush.

I like men who have a full head of hair, long or short doesn't really matter to me as long as it looks thick and full. I like seeing a twinkle in their eyes. And mmmmmmmm full lips. It makes me wonder if they are good kissers. Which, btw, if they are can dramatically alter how I see someone.

Like  La Tigresse , I have no set parameters it seems - based on my history.   So many variations !    Men and occasional women - all different.

Though I generally find health and fitness a major turn-on ,   there was someone who absolutely tripped all my triggers heavily - who was overweight ,  and not too respectful of his body at all - but the look in his eyes ,  and his overall attitude just did it for me !

Go figure ...

A sense of humor followed by a compassion for those less fortunate than him (four legged & two legged).  He should actually be a doer rather than just another person saying "Someone should do something about that".

I really don't have a "type" though of course I'm a fan of gingers! Looking back on my personal disasters, it's hard to see what the correlations are. One had the right smell. You know what I mean. The other was my best friend. Nothing like being betrayed by your best friend! Tall skinny guy, he was. Other tall guy, not handsome. That was me being delusional. So was that Army Major who was a civ fireman. THAT was a disasterama!

Arms. Really gorgeous arms, esp the forearms and hands. I am also particular about feet. Not into messing with them, just how they look. I've gone right off some that don't have the right hands.

It's the expression, first of all though. Intelligence, sense of humor, kindness...it's all in the expression!

If we're talking pure unadulterated lust, then Wayne Chrebet would be the first person I think of.

My first lustful crush was Robert Redford as Sundance. Damn, those eyes & mouth & mustache.......

The John Cusack type. Not too long hair that's slightly tousled, dark eyes, crooked smile, a few freckles, a not-skinny body.

OR

A man in uniform. Oh yes. I'm one of those.

This is exactly why I don't go anywhere in uniform unless I absolutely have to, It's like throwing a box of catnip into the street.

Tall brunettes with a well-kept body and very sharp tongue.  A woman that knows she is hot and is every bit as arrogant as I can be.

Never experienced this before, but from judging from some of the posts on here a persons weight seems to be the biggest concern for people(not just this thread). Get to the gym fat people. nobody wants a fatty. wait im a fat person, i go to the gym and im still a fat person. I get can go to the bar and pick up women anytime. Huh, must be the hair and tats then.
