Yes, I guess actually reporting the news is boring compared to Fox's version of Jerry Springer.

With 15.1 % of your population living at or below the poverty line...I doubt he made many fans. Paul I mean.

Also Perry lost out there with his horrendous numbers without healthcare and the fact the infant mortality rate is getting worse by the year.

Unca Newty is batshit and not going to go anywhere, his history is worse than all of them put together.
A shower of ugly shite.. altogether, it reminded me of a badly acted punch and judy show

Just asking for a read and comment here. Why would a left leaning media source team up with the "Tea Party"?

I think it's nonsense to imply theirs some mysterious pairing or aura to this. The freaking tea party is a wing of the GOP. Has CNN hosted and handicapped GOP debates before?

It was a pretty fair debate given the cartload of back-biting degenerates that participated:

1) A WANNA-BE Boston Brahman who is so out of fucking touch with America that he actually got energized and appeared jubilant just a few days back when the job numbers were flat and the prognosis grim (that's just fucking weird).

2)A Texan Governor - virtually nothing else needs to be said... Cept maybe that this guy may actually be getting his marching orders right from God ... Nuclear Foorball mean anything to you?

3) A Bottom feeding opportunistic witch who thopught the John Wayne from Iowa (HOME STATE!!!!!!) was actually The Duke ...who'd give us a first lady who can cure gayness with God, all the while sporting a pretty bad lisp himself/

4) Rick Santorum - Why not just bust Sonny Ray Patriarcha or Whitey Bolger out instead?

5)The Billionaire's Son and Governor of the state that's brought us great Americans like Gary Gilmore, Warren Jeffs and THE FUCKING OSMONDS... You wanna take a chance  on what he's offer up??????

6)NEWT!!!!! You can't even turn your back on this guy when he's alone with your dog. And THIS GUY is the best and most qualified GOP candidate, technically speaking.

7)Ron Paul, a man with a proud tradition of protecting the constitution from the Greylians. Hopefully this year, he'll be able to find his way to his own party's convention.

8) Herman Cain - Pizza Man - says he's make the White House funny.
.....Whatever

Given this list... the GOP has bigger worries who carries ONE of many debates.

BTW - I am sure Fox is already fantasizing how they can run a 2016 democratic debate through the floorboards.

Oh come on. The guests are more interesting and the interviews are better especially when they ask tough questions and hold their feet to the fire. Then there are the debates. It goes on all day long on most of their programs. CNN has good debates sometimes but not as often, at least not so much of it when I used to watch all the time. I sure tuned in last night. CNN + Tea Party = smooth move Exlax.  FOX has their hard news programing too.

That's the problem with you liberals, you come up with shit like "Jerry Springer",  I get your point but that's highly exaggerated, the subject matter isn't the same though a few fist fights might be fun to see.

I doubt Romney/Rubio will have any GOP challengers for re-election.

I don't think so rule. For a few milliseconds before it reached the critical mass of viability, I really think the Tea Party was nonaligned.
The neocons saw something that had a lot of energy and money and immediately coopted it.

FR:

I agree with one of muffin's comments: it was probably the best debate I've seen in a long time.

I only caught the last hour, but the format and execution seemed pretty fair, and most of the candidates seem to have the ability to get their points across.

Wolf, I'm not usually much of a fan, but he did pretty good this time.

Just based on the last hour, it would be impossible to give a "win/lose" evaluation on the debaters.  I think most of them came off pretty good actually, and all of them had a thing or two that you could interpret as good or bad, depending on how you otherwise saw them.

I will say, that I'm really unsure about Perry, and Bachmann.  I think Newt is the "smartest guy in the room", and generally qualified, but not sure that he really has the personality I want in the Presidency.

Ron Paul does have some great ideas, but some that are a pipe-dreams as well, but occasionally he just gets ... out there.

I was also pretty surprised how all the candidates were able to get their point across about "negatives" on other candidates without actually being acrimonious.  In general, there seemed to be some bonhomie going on.

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that I'm not going to get my "perfect candidate", so it is a matter of whose lacking in areas that I can live with.  Based on that thought, I thought that if one of them wins, the rest would get major positions in the new administration.

I could see Bachmann in Education, with the goal of eliminating it.  Ron Paul or Cain as Secretary of Treasury, Newt as Defense, Perry as State, Santorium as Homeland Security ...

Firm

MHM It doesnt sound like you had any trust in MSM anyway.. just from your words.. what DO you use as a MSM source? just askin

Problem these days, is you can't use a single source. You have to glean your info out of an amalgam. FOX will take certain info out of context, CNN and MSNBC will take other stuff out of context, then you have PBS, NPR, etc taking more other stuff out of context. You get some info from at least a couple of half-way respectable sources you know are ideoligically opposed and you have a chance of piecing some of the truth together. When I say Half-way, I mean media that at least tries to make an effort to hide their bias. I mean if you are reading the socialist worker party's weekly or militia times today, let's face it they are so biased they will just lie rather than go through the trouble of simply distorting the facts. Fox, CNN, MSNBC, (just TV examples for now) just muddle the facts taking shit out of context or refusing to report on it till the other one does. You can see the difference in converage and combine the information into some semblance of the whole story. But if you really want it all, this is the day of the internet, you can get full transcripts and videos of events uneditted by the media if you really want to know in most cases.

The only thing that bothers me about the MSM as a whole is it has no dignity left. Watch the South Park Episode where the boys are making The Super Sexy School News. You'll get my drift.

Hehe I actually like John Stewart's statement about Ron Paul:

""He's Tea party patient zero, all that small government grass roots business, he planted that grass!"

His big opportunity to come forward as an AUTHORATIVE Constitutionalist and he decided to be funny boy instead...
I wonder how much Romney 'donated' to his campaign to get that performance.

25,000 I think:) oh no that was perry.
with Paul, Its obvious that he is a doctor who went into medicine to make money first. Never trusted those chaps, simply for that fact.
