You asked us, now I ask you.

What would you like for us to do ? I don't just mean assholes stop making more work for you on the forum here, I want to know what would be your vision for a better forum. What would be better ?

I mean you could say like "How about you all stop _________ and __________ and shit like that it pisses us off.". Shit like that. What pisses you off ?

In fact what pisses the Mods off as well ? I mean I am sure alot of people piss the Mods off but just don't cross the line and then nothing happens. I have talked about the reason this whole fucking thing exists on more than one occasion. But people must get pissed off sometimes, and some of those times it is not detrimental and therefore you can't really do shit.

But what pisses you off, other than me ? I know I piss you all off, but I have it throttled, like a finely tuned Holley carbeurator, or an electronic fuel injection system. Others throw in the nitromethane, N2O or naptha. Watch that naptha unless you got stainless pistons. (them things are expensive as fuck)

This place is already supercharged and running open headers, we take no prisoners and you all know it.

But what pisses you off ?

Pissed off is a relative term here. It's not like people on the forum have shit on her front lawn or strewn toilet paper around her favorite poplar tree. I mean here on the forum.

She has never once expressed what pisses her off about all this shit, shit people say. It's all about the forum.

I want to know what pisses her off personally. She doesn't take it to the moderation level obviously, but I find it hard to believe that someone could do this and just keep letting it roll off their back.

So Alphstress ! Lay it on us. I don't mean TOS, I don't even mean being mean, oh wait, maybe I do, if you do. I don't know. Goddamnit, what, do you have a life or something ? How dare you LOL.

But really, tell us what you want.

Yeah...I don't see her answering the question of what pisses her off from this site. That would just be an invitation for wankers to do exactly those things that would piss her off. Just because it pisses her off doesn't mean that member gets moderated.

I'm not Alpha, of course, but along with DD's comment, I don't know if Alpha really could answer the above and still remain looking professional.  You're heart's probably in the right place on this one, Term.  I just don't know if Alpha answering would be in her overall best interest. 

However, if I was Alpha, I'd probably go with the same line of thought as when I had people working under Me.  We've got TOS and those nice guidelines to go by.  If people would just stay within that, it would probably make her job a lot easier.

I appreciate the intent behind your post, but have to respond by saying, I never get pissed off period, because that would mean I was taking remarks and violations personally. I do not even get pissed off when the remarks are personal, because my feelings DO NOT enter into my moderation activities, nor do they enter into My moderator's activities. All of us appreciate those that stay within TOS and forum guidelines, and it makes our job easier than those that don't and those that intentionally find the fine line between acceptable and unacceptable and walk that line to test it. Either way, none of us take anything said here personally because it is the internet and we are just doing what we pledged to do for the site.

Hey Term, speaking of fuel injectors, any chance you could offer a suggestion? My kid's car every so often has zero acceleration, and then next time she turns it on it's back to normal. I told her to try fuel injector cleaners plus a full tank of hi-test. Am I making a valid suggestion or not?

When is every so often ? If it's after warmed up it may be the fuel pump screen collapsing. If it collapses too many times the fuel pump will burn up because it needs the fuel flow to cool off. If the fuel pump costs more than the labor to drop the tank, change the screen and filter, if it costs less change the pump as well. Anything else depends on the system, especially if the car has an electronic throttle, which is not all that common. It's not really rare, but it depends on the make and model. Usually anything other than fuel delivery causing poor performance either makes it choke or is part of the computerized engine management system. Usually it's fuel. That doesn't mean it's a good thing, fuel pumps cost real money on some cars.

So much for the hijack part. Alpha, now really, do you think that I am one of the ones who push the envelope ? I hafta admit that I used to try to do just that. Not so much as an antagonistic effort, but more just to find out just where the limits lie. I'm a bit calmer now that I have found them. :-)
